I would have preferred that Vader is seen, but not meeting Obi Wan at all. Heck Vader was at his best in Rogue One and he never met any of the heroes of that story. This was plain lazy writing.

Hopefully this dumpster fire is over for good. Decent last episode considering but they need to close the Skywalker chapters instead of reopening and destroying it.

i dunno, i feel it this whole season could have been a 2hour long movie and would be better than anything Star Wars related from the last 15years

I think the Mandalorian is better than Kenobi series but other than that I agree.

And yet that’s not saying much. Until Star Wars fans stop paying for this kind of bullshit on fandom alone they will continue to put out halfassed projects. I don’t watch any of this crap and I’m a fan.

yeh ideally they'd write an entirely different storyline set hundreds of years earlier with different jedi and sith and zero reference to any chosen one or anything at all...but what can you do

You can do like me and skip it. I watched The Force Awakens and seeing how it was a piece of shit I skipped the two other films that followed. I watched two episodes of the Mandalorian. I wasn’t feeling it so I didn’t watch anymore. Watched the first episode of Boba Fett. It was shit, so I skipped the rest of that series as well.

So just going off Disney’s track record with these shows I decided to hear word of mouth before sitting through even one episode of Obi Wan. Going off this thread it sounds like more of the same halfassed bullshit that I can just skip.

Yes I watched most of the show but didn’t finish it. I saw it enough that like I’ve said numerous times the show is centered around Tela and not He-Man. Apparently Tela being the protagonist was something that was floated as being a possibility before the show was even released and due to all the negative feedback that so called rumor received, the studio had to lie and say it wasn’t true. Apparently you’re the only one who seems to believe them.

Here’s a YouTube video that breaks down the film and even backs up what I’ve been saying all along:

Maybe the problem was that I didn't have any pre-conceived notion about the series going in. I didn't hear any rumors or anything. I knew Kevin Smith was doing it and I heard the theme song on the internet beforehand but nothing about any storyline or woke agenda. I just watched it.

I'm not saying I wasn't surprised and bummed out at the beginning of the show when He-Man AND Skeletor died, but that was the catalyst for the whole series so I forgave it. I always thought of this as a continuation of the Filmation series which is what they said it would be. Looking at it through that lense made it easier to understand where Teela was coming from and also knowing that she was the Sorceress' daughter and successor.

Just finish the series ffs. Even the video you posted only goes off of the first half of the season. That's dumb.

I hated Kenobi and had complaints the whole time but I waited to watch the whole thing and see if they could redeem themselves. Which they didn't.

Nah I don’t believe you have to watch the whole of something to decide if it’s for you or not. I stopped after Force Awakens and haven’t watched anything since. I don’t feel I’m missing anything.

That's fine and dandy but it doesn't make sense whining over He-Man before watching the entire storyline.
