    Seriously! This will be shit, but let's not pretend any other version of this, is some sort of untouchable classic cinema upon which only male eyes can gaze upon.

    Wake me up when they cast Anna Kendrick as Colonel Kurtz in "Apocalypse Now Redux-Duxover".

    OCEAN’S 8

    PREMISE - Bullock gets out of jail hooks up with her old friend/roommate and immediately starts putting into action a jewelry heist she’d been dreaming up while incarcerated. Step A is to find woman with the requisite skills and then put the plan into action.

    CRITIQUE - The story really is that simple and this one makes the other three films in the franchise look like Oscar material. First of all the story and dialogue is basic as hell with not much real conversation going on. Dialogue consisted mostly of jokes, straight forward comments, hip phrases and sarcastic wit. There is none of the charisma and charm from even one of these actresses that you see displayed from even the minimalist characters in the other films and you learn very little about them. Also the heist is planned and executed so basically and straight forward with hardly any hitches involved.

    The weak story and casting scream cash out. This is probably why we get our token black chick (Rihanna) and some Asian chick to help bring in a little extra money at the Chinese box office. It wasn’t particularly funny, interesting or entertaining, just meh. Not the worst movie I’ve seen but certainly not worth watching in theaters or ever again.

    I saw this with my girlfriend. Basically it is a Commando for women, it is very stupid but if you expect anything else, it is your own damn fault.

    Also, it is a totally harmless flick. Only panchy and Anthony can have a problem with its existence
