    Yeah, but people are morons.

You'd think most people have enough common sense for realize it takes years of training to reach a world class level (if you ever get there, which most fighters don't) and that you'd get your ass kicked going into a new sport against much better, experienced opposition. But there are a lot of ignorant people who lack common sense.

I dunno man. Apparently the Irish fought alongside the Scottish against Longshanks (or so Mel Gibson would have us believe anyway)

Floyd does tap into those negative stereotypes for sure, but still he's no Zab Judah. He doesn't articulate himself very well ( perhaps it's the Grand Rapids inner city upbringing) but when he gets serious he does talk some sense. Of course the money and cars bullshit is annoying...but that's how he markets himself and it has been working for him so far.

There's really NO difference between Zab and Floyd other than Floyd is a great fighter who became super rich, and Zab never became great nor super rich.

There's NOTHING positive worth noting about Floyd the man. Nothing.

Pretty sure it's a soccer thing now, more than any real hatred like from some time ago.

If you listen to Floyd breaking down fights or careers, he's pretty insightful. Problem is that his command of the English language is lacking.

    Zab is just a hoodlum.

Zab's a hoodlum but Floyd's insightful??? Can you for ONCE remove Floyd's cock from your throat??

Zab's not the HABITUAL woman beater of the two.

There's one recorded instance last year where Zab allegedly pushed his girl to the floor during an arguement. Hardly commendable, but Floyd has whupped the ass of every chick/baby mama he's ever had.

I agree. Floyd is a much as "hoodlum" as Zab. Probably more so.

Beating a woman and being a hoodlum are not the same thing. Some rich, educated, sophisticated men beat their women. Zab is more "street" than Floyd is, IMO.

By the way, I'm not saying Floyd is a sophisticated educated person, before you spin my words as usual. Floyd is certainly leaning that way (street) but Zab is far more extreme and it isn't even close. You wouldn't se Floyd trying to beat up on a ref or causing a riot. Let's be honest you cunt.

To met hat was Judah playing hard. Judah always trying to portray an image. Even Mike Tyson was turned off by it.

Floyd is not insightful. If he was I could look past the cuntiness and listen to him. He is tedious to listen to in interviews, just repeats the same shit over and over again. I remember there was a video which was titled something like 'Floyd Mayweather talks about sparring Pernell Whitaker', I was genuinely interested in hearing what he had to say about it but the guy went off on some stupid tangent about money and barely fucking touched on the Whitaker stuff. Insightful my arse.

If you get past the "Like I said before" and the stuttering and the other idiosyncrasies and listen to what he says regarding certain fighters as well as his own career and you will realize that he makes a lot of sense. I'm talking about when he's being serious...not when he's playing the fool.

I never find Floyd Insightful. Nothing he says has any intelligence behind. I find Mike Tyson insightful. Even at a young age, despite being a menace and clearly disturbed, when he was engaged in a topic he understood, he really had some great insight.

Tyson is somebody I would love to discuss boxing with, Floyd not so much, despite being a master of the craft.

Tyson was definitely far more of a boxing historian than Floyd is. Floyd is really more about himself and contemporary fighters.

I'm just saying that Floyd makes sense when you listen to him carefully...it's jus that it's easy to miss because of his persona and the way he talks.

When he talks about what? The only video of his I found interesting was the SecondsOut one from over a decade ago where he was discussing and showing his defensive techniques (which was brilliant), other than that I can't think of anything.

I haven't heard anything insightful from Floyd either. Guys like Roy, Bernard etc can always tell you something interesting, Floyd, not so much. He seems to understand boxing on some intuitive level, he can't describe it in words.

Calling him insightful is the same as some pop singers are called insightful when they don't sound like total blockheads.

Infuriating but hardly surprising. If this garbage wasn't being promoted as "boxing vs MMA" I'd root for McGregor to cave his head in.

"Insightful" was perhaps being too generous, wrong choice of word. He is smarter than his persona and communication skills suggest though . He says things in a clumsy manner and finds it hard to get his points across...but if you get past that he often makes good points.

An example of this was when he was suggesting that pacquiao may be on drugs. Whether or not he was scared of pacquiao isn't this issue, but what he said regarding it was interesting. He said something to the effect ( in a clumsy manner) that when Jordan, Kobe and other star athletes were kids, they were already head and shoulders above the rest of their peers. He was suggesting that superstars show their worth from early in every sport. However pacquiao was getting knocked out and hurt early in his career at flyweight and then was suddenly knocking out guys at lightweight welterweight well into adult hood....so it suggested something fishy. He didn't articulate himself well, and so many would have just seen a stuttering excuse making fool, but I got his point and it was an interesting one.

Zab was probably trying to emulate his dad, Yoel, who's a TRUE tough guy. Zab, not so much.

If mayweather jr worked on his delivery and how to properly articulate his thoughts on the technical aspects during a fight I think he could offer good insight like jones jr used to. He doesn't really attempt to do so whenever he is talking during telecasts because he is busy speaking on whatever agenda he has
