Yeah I don't think McGregor is a racist, I have never seen anything that suggests he has even a tendency towards bigotry. Floyd is a clown.

 

A lot of guys over here, guys that follow boxing in a more than casual fashion, think McGregor is taking Floyd out in two.

That;'s what I am saying. MMA and Boxing are good things, the UFC and say, HBO or Don King are not.

 

Joshua really doesn't have many opponents, viable or worthwhile.

He's already maxed out doing 90,000 at Wembley Stadium so he cant go back to doing small crowds vs small opponents.

Hence his foray into MMA, it's not that he respects it, it's that it provides him with the rough timber needed to generate some promotional sawdust.

 

I suggest you take a mid afternoon nap.

 

Smart thing to do is just go to bed early and get up early.

Hut is Scottish so finds both of these tasks impossible.

floyd is gonna be heavier than he's been in most of his fights, older, and wearing lighter gloves. if mcgregor's chin holds up, maybe his main hope is that floyd busts his right hand so bad on mcgregor's head that it gives the irishman a way in.

I can and I can also see why so much moolah has gone on McGregor: the Irish are born gamblers...

 

Mayweather by decision, Conor's fans will claim he was robbed.

 

I think McGregor and his Coach Kavanagh have devised an aggressive strategy of trying to offset Mayweather by making McGregor fight orthodox in the first 1-2 rounds and fire in combinations and then switch to southpaw in rounds 3-4 and start darting forward and shooting with the left hand to try and catch Mayweather. With the plan that I THINK they will have McGregor following, I believe they will probably be good for no more than 4-5 rounds before McGregor begins to rapidly slow his attacks and his hands begin to drop slightly, thus leaving his head more exposed. McGregor will then begin to welcome Mayweather to come forward while McGregor uses the hands-behind-back tactic in order to begin conserving his own energy and trying to get a second wind. This will be around the time when McGregor starts leaning more onto his back foot, putting more of his weight there and then trying to counter. The speed of his hands will decline at that point and it will become more of a counter-chess match where he's looking to land a big one while sucking wind, and by then, Mayweather (if Mayweather is on song) will be the one coming forward and beginning to unleash power right hands to McGregor's head and body, especially the head. Kavanagh and co. didn't devise a plan that McGregor would follow through for a full 12 round fight. It's more of a 6 round plan. A large part of their strategy is for McGregor to use his physical advantages and try to push Mayweather back and seep his energy with shots to his head, body, arms, anything they can legally hit.
One thing I don't know if they planned for though is knowing how hard Mayweather can actually punch. I'm under the impression that McGregor has a suspect chin and he may not be able to handle too many of Mayweather's right hands.
