I can't for the life of me envision a scenario in which Conor goes the distance. I know Floyd hasn't stopped anyone in almost a decade but Conor, being a boxing novice will not be used to:

    1. Throwing a high volume of strikes ( exclusively with the hands this time) for 3 mins for 12 rounds.
    2. Avoiding combinations of punches for 12 rounds
    3. Absorbing combinations of punches to both head and body for 12 rounds

Colonel Mustard, I'm picking Mayweather by TKO 6. A barrage of punches on an out of breath McGregor will finish the fight.

Without the UFC, MMA would be dead.

I thought I already did a prediction but I guess not. I think Floyd stops him in the 10th.

I could totally see Floyd being safety first and it going all 12 though.

That might be true, but that doesn't make the UFC any more attractive an entity to me than before. It's unfortunate something as legitimate as MMA has to be sold and packaged in this fashion. It comes down to the fans at the end of the day, I suppose. Retards demand Retarded products.

UFC has Monopolized the MMA World...They're the ONLY Route to MMA Legitimacy, Basically...

That Being Said, UFC's gREED Spawned This Fight, More than Anything Else...McGregor's DEMONSTRATED his Value to UFC, Many Times Over, Fought Last Minute Replacements to Preserve Fight Cards, Gone Up/Down in Weight, You Name It...

Nonetheless, UFC's Repeatedly LOWBALLED him, Financially...Thus, Conor's Dabbling w/Boxing, a Sport w/Splintered Monopolies and Higher Payouts...If McGregor Could Get a 75-100mil Minimum Guarantee from UFC, Which he DESERVES, this Thread, the Hype and Fight Itself Would Cease to Exist...

I'll go with McGregor by TKO in 2. Just because he promised it last night at the weigh-in so why not?

McGregor doesn't deserve $75-100 million paydays. His UFC ppv buys are roughly 1.3 million range, and half of that goes to the cable company. UFC would be at a loss trying to pay him that sort of money.

Mayweather doesn't fight that way. If he did, it would be awesome for Mayweather's stock but I don't see him going that route.

Mayweather is twitchy and energetic and seems genuinely angry. Last time I saw him like that was before the Gatti fight.

I actually a little fearful that Conor may get seriously injured or killed.

If that happens they'd never try this type of thing again

Mayweather would've been a much bigger star if he fought everyone the way he fought Gatti. That was a relentless pounding.

The Staredown was Most Telling for REED...

Floyd was Cold and Virtually Emotionless...Not the Least Bit Unnerved or Bothered by Conor Talking Shit, INCHES from his Face...

Floyd's VIBE Seemed to Be, "SAY Whatever You Want, All the Talking's Just about OVER, and You've Got to SEE Me in the Ring Tomorrow Night"...

McGregor and Jon Jones go to the Bellator cage which makes them the WCW to the UFC's WWF

Mayweather/Pacquaio stunk really really badly. I hope Mayweather actually comes in looking to put a hurting on someone instead of playing it safe.

Conor looked desperate to me. Usually he gets to guys and they are shook before the fight.

Floyd is too good at boxing and done this too long to be shook at this.

It was Also Floyd's Very 1st PPV Main Event...

Gatti was the PERFECT Foil; Floyd RESENTED Gatti's Popularity and Place within the Sport, it was a Chance to SHOWCASE his Generational Talents and Gatti was a Lamb Being Led to Slaughter...A Golden Opportunity to ENHANCE Floyd's Brand...

Sly COULD Be Onto Something w/the Gatti-McGregor Analogy, Pertaining to Floyd...

Despite the Purse Split, the STAR of this Promotion has Been McGregor, Undeniably...Conor's OWNED Floyd @ Every Stop of the Press Tour...The "Fuck You" Suit, Having THOUSANDS Say "Fuck the Mayweathers" as Floyd has 50-100 Chanting "Hard Work-Dedication", the I.R.S. Jabs, etc...

In THAT Sense, Floyd Took an "L", and Considering his Ego, REED Wouldn't Doubt he's Grown to RESENT McGregor a Tad...He'll Want to Make an EXAMPLE of McGregor, in Front of the Largest Crowd in Combative Sports History...

No, Floyd Won't Be RECKLESS, but he Won't COAST Either...

That fight really wasn't as bad as people made it out to be. If people ordered that fight expecting to see Corrales-Castillo then that's their fault for being dumb.

I'm ordering this fight tonight. U know what I'm getting an old past his prime great fighter against a total amateur. I'm not going to feel ripped off when Floyd toys with him.

He wasn't able to get to Nate Diaz in either fight. Actually it was Diaz who annoyed Conor when he mentioned "steroids". Conor was fuming and wanted to fight right there at the press conference. LOL

It's not really about what people were expecting but I think in the very least they deserved a lot better than that. It was not a good fight at all.

Floyd's Going to Be SMART, as Always...

He'll Try to Observe the 1st Round, if McGregor's Not Tooooo FRISKY...But By Mid Round 2 - End of Round 3, he'll Start Opening Up...REED Predicted Floyd in 7, but it's Going to Take World Class PUNCH RESISTANCE for McGregor to Make it That Faaaaaar...

And if, If, IF McGregor Indeed Comes Out FRISKY, This Could Be a Wrap in 3-4 Rounds...

The same people saying "F*ck the Mayweathers" are the ones putting millions of dollars in Mayweather's pockets.
The 4 stop press-tours were nonsense. Both guys were clowning around and just being rude and vulgar. Even Conor fans on the mma forums were calling it lame and tacky by the end of the 3rd press tour. I feel like Conor is the clown in the circus who's out there in front of the paying audience and doing all the theatrics and entertainment while Floyd is in the back counting the cash inside the cash box and laughing his ass off at the idiot. I think Mayweather played Conor really good. Got him to do most if not all the work in selling this fight, took 70-75% of the money including 80% of the PPV revenue and now gets the fight in his domain.

I don't think McGregor has a sturdy chin. I see that head snapping backwards and he's going to get surprised very quickly at how hard, fast and accurate Mayweather's punches are.
