Yes that's right Caligula, but Corrales was actually a fairly articulate guy, and well liked in interviews etc. Peter is a complete and utter fucking retard.

Not only that, Corrales was a far, far better fighter than Peter, and was the victor in one of the greatest fights in the history of boxing.

 

MWS tends to get caught up in looks, verbal articulation and the overall vibe of a boxer....

He has either a liking or a VERY visceral dislike for guys....Tszyu being one glaring example.

I had a female friend from another boxing website. She went up to Diego Corrales in Vegas at a post fight party (shortly after he had skipped town while she lay in the ICU from injuries he put on her) and asked "How's your wife" to him. he just stood there looking stupid and his 'boys' got up like they were going to do something to a girl (probably would have had it not been in public.)

I've made some bad predicitions in my day, but come on guys. Oleg over Peter simply didn't add up no matter how you break it down.

Peter was eventually going to punch him in the face. Oleg was eventually going to fall down. Had you guys only seen his fights with Rahman or something?

 

Oleg did wobble Peter in there as well. Of course he was the underdog going in and yes he lost but it was not like it was all one-way traffic

 

Actually, I thought the entire fight would play out like the first 5.5 rounds did...and given how Peter tires, if Oleg got past the first 7, it was increasingly his fight.

That's not a stretch at all.

Having seen the stoppage....Oleg was hurt but not out.

I've said this since right after the second Toney fight, Dsimon....Toney did NOTHING in that fight. NOTHING. He didn't even move like he normally does and he was grossly overweight.

It was EASY for Peter to look like a world-beater that night.....he jabbed, put combos together, did all that great stuff....

It's much different to do it against a man of equal or bigger size and power who is fighting back and/or sticking a stiff jab in your face.

It was more about what Toney didn't bring than about how Peter all of a sudden "transformed himself" into.

I hope Wlad vs Peter 2 is made ASAP so Peter can be KTFO this time. His chin has been cracked in each fight since they fought and this time he'll be put to sleep.

 

It wasn't even close to one way... the fight was basically even up until that point.. and Oleg seemed the more comfortable fighter.
