Quite obviously he is. In fact, I haven't heard thtmuchart much Usyk praise after this fight, nor before it

Yeah, not much "dicksucking" with Usyk really, the consensus seems to be he's a very good fighter but not a special talent like Loma or Inoue.

Usyk isn’t as sharp coming forward as he is moving and boxing and Baloo was able to sneak in some shots and steal some rounds going defensive and making him lead.

Obviously Android Joshua isn’t going to trot around the perimeter of the ring trying to be cute with Usyk, he’d risk gassing himself out without putting any wear on the opponent. He’d have to march forward and get him.

The plan is definitely to make AJ/Usyk

Then it would only cement the fact that the real champion is the Fury/Wilder winner

I'd rather watch Usyk against Lebedev, Dorticos, maybe Gassiev again, maybe Stevenson....can't see him having any meaningful success at HW...he's not a big puncher and doesn't have a HW frame

The big knock against European fighters was that they were useless backing up and ironically Usyk is useless coming forward. He loves nothing more than to counter attack rather than counter punch. Bellew was dead meat in that final round where he was sort of coming to a stop right in front of Usyk as Bellews attacks fell short or failed to materialize.

I jus' sawzette ,.. Bellow muckraked like Hopkins he did,.. propelling away with a yabby kip, then pot-shotting from behind a turned back,....whoever looks magnificent against that type of bitch strategy?...would "Ricky's ref" oblige the odd kidney pince?...I think they'd ring the fire alarm.
It was apparent early on that,... I'd have to mute the sound though,.. I suspect you were fed the same broadcast, "aww fuck do it properly atleast", where was the 'nervous' Barry Mcguigan?,... for the first few rounds, in siren cosmic unison, they was like Kier Dullea in 2010, ……………."Something wonderful",...ah I couldn't do it.... I checked it up online a few hours later, just the finish well what. Usyk was getting pissed off with how many times the rodent was cacking his face after the fact, you just don't get too fruity with a Russian Orthodox catholic. :emoji_deer:

I think they just need to hit them with a lyrical blow to the jaw that leaves every MC down on the floor.

    Idiot

Guy had excellent hand speed, good power, exceptional punching accuracy and was one of the best I've seen at finishing exchanges at close range... also a very underrated counterpuncher and overall technician

You make him sound like Billy Backus, you fucking shit-stirring fail cunt. Fuck your whole family to death.

    Errrr...no.
You make him sound like a cruiserweight Sugar Ray Leonard.

Holyfield's entire legacy is based on beating a one-dimensional-been-in-prison-too-long-Rich-Giachetti-trained-one-punch legend.

He was a great fighter but he certainly wasn’t a special fighter.

Ray Robinson, Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Roy Jones etc are special standout talents that stand out among great fighters. Holyfield isn’t. He was just another good fighter that accomplished enough to be considered great.

Yes, in his brief prime. That’s not when Holyfield fought him tho. Saying Holy was special is a joke. His stock, trade and appeal was being a really solid, well rounded, ballsy guy.

Ok. Starting to see the difference. Sort of agree. But guys like Holyfield are the ones who manage to beat special fighters.

Well rounded guys are usually the victims of special fighters. There’s usually some extreme aspect that they just can’t get around. But Tyson was really just a limited puncher by the time Holy fought him.

Frazier wasn’t really a well rounded type guy, but I see your point.

I give Usyk a much better chance at Wilder and Fury than I did before. Wilder’s awful and kind of dumb and Fury doesn’t have much offense at all. I still wouldn’t pick him against the top 3.
