One suffers a relapse and the other a panic attack. Who wins?

I'm going to stop picking against Golota based upon his lack of sanity alone.

    Golota wins a decision here.

I vote McCall all the way.

McCall could take a shot. Golota mentally fell apart everytime he fought a guy who took his best shots....even when whipping their asses like Bowe (twice) and Grant.

The fact McCall handles Golota's best is enough reason to pick Andrew to fall apart.

If Frank Bruno who was as prone to fall apart as was Golota, yet less skilled and less tough..could decision McCall, Golota all the way.

There'd be phychiatrists instead of physicians ringside for this one.

He never fell apart quite like Golota. Tyson and Lemmon put him to sleep a total of three times. The Lemmon fight was particularly bad...he was winning that one. :goingmad:

Lummox was clumsy as FUCK in the Bruno fight.

Tyson would have raped a Lummox that clumsy.

He fell apart against Bonecrusher and Witherspoon as well...and he was winning both of those fights.

Frank Bruno had Lebron-like choking ability.

I'd say Bruno got hurt bad because his chin was very shaky, but I don't know that I'd equate that to a mental collapse

Golota was a much different story

Mental collapse had alot to do with it when you watch the fights.

He basically could not survive when hurt

that's a far cry from quitting or purposely hammering balls to get out of a fight

Yo....it's the same type of mental collapse that you accuse guys like Judah of having. The fact of the matter was that Bruno couldn't fight off any type of adversity. It's equivalent in regards to his success against challenges.

I'll take McCall, Golata would be ahead before tapping out when the fight starts going some rounds and McCall is still there.

As for Bruno...his issues were which more about his chin and stamina than his heart. I wouldn't compare him to Golata in that regard.

No, Judah is a bully who stops fighting when stood up to and flat out "survives" in order to avoid being KOd as best as possible

Bruno wasn't a particularly good fighter who had a lousy chin and just got knocked out... are you suggesting he could have gotten up against Witherspoon or Tyson or Lewis?

Not saying he was Smokin Joe Frazier in the guts or mental toughness department, but he didn't repeatedly foul in order to get out of fights and he didn't quit and hide against guys he was competing with like Judah... Bruno lost to Tyson, Lewis, Witherspoon... he was supposed to, all three were clearly better fighters than he was

Judah has lost to guys and survived to win questionable decisions against guys he was supposed to batter

Golota outboxes McCall for a period and then implodes at some point, getting KO'd by McCall shortly thereafter.

Yeah. It's tough to pick Golota in this instance, knowing that McCall will still be around in the late rounds. That's when Golota starts to freak out and is likely to cheat so blatantly (low-blows, biting) that it's essentially quitting.

I'll never understand the Grant fight. Most frustrating night in the life of any Golota fan.

I could see that, given he was winning those fights handily. But whereas in those fights he was actually taking punishment, it seemed like a cake-walk for him against Grant, before getting knocked down.

And he didn't get disqualified. He straight up quit when the referee asked him if he wanted to continue. It was almost as if he misinterpreted the referee's question (giving him the benefit of the doubt). Or, that he elected to quit because he thought the referee (and HBO) wanted him to.

As frustrating as the Bowe losses were, there was still hope for him. Many expected him to beat Lewis, and though he'd lost both Bowe fights, he was viewed as the superior fighter at that point.

By the time he fought Grant, he'd already been written off. And it looked like he might redeem himself with an important win. And he was well on his way to doing so. But no! The fckr quits.
