:: John Joe. http://fightbeat.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45275&page=19 I just want Ireland to get a Gold in the boxing, We deserve it. this was the last fella who ever got gold for ireland...the shame. He lost his medal after they found out that his horse was selling drugs to the Klitschkos. His God-Daddy is none other than Sir Tony O' Twat, the father of the Twat Twins, one of whom married Alison Doody.......when Cian was found to have a horse that had been doped/tinkered with, the Irish Independent newspaper ran a story which claimed the Police believed that O'Connor was being "Set Up". Who owns/owned the Irish Independent? The same guy who is Godfather to the suspect and the same guy who paid for the horse in question. Sir Tony O'Reilly. Its a stench I want to see shifted. Gwan Joe Joe ya tinkers hooer!
Hup out of it John Joe!! Hup out of it!! Shite in a bucket!!! Junkie Joe!! Apparently, at 0:10 to 0:13, an Irish man is revealed as the true inventor of the internet and computers. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/wL6aDrzs3Fs?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I saw this post earlier today and now watching the telecast I completely agree. The telecasts would also be much better if Teddy and Papa would shut the fuck up.
The Azeri really dominated until there were 78 seconds left when he fell apart. I didn't really see the punch that hurt him, but he was obviously hurt. If there had been an 8 count or two, that would have just wasted time for the Jap to score. While I think the fight should have been stopped because of the Azeri basically quitting, the Azeri probably did land more punches in the last round. This is just a quirk of am boxing that everyone knows about, but no one likes to see.
That's just a stupid comment. The Iranian was holding constantly in the 2nd round and was warned and would do it again right away. There are two reasons you would say what you said: 1. Your predilection to hyperbole or 2. You don't understand the rules
I thought he might- not because of innate choof of his appeal, but because his opponent actually had to be helped from the ring. The Officials probably knew the Azaeri wouldn't be able to fight in the next fight anyways, so did the smart thing. Glad for the Japper anyways, he could be another Ishida. Look East!
Just reading Feebles BBC link......the referee who was helping out the Azaeri was from from....Turkmenistan. :: Welly Welly Welly.
Again, maybe you missed the guy taking a point from the Cuban in the first for almost nothing. He was one of the worst, most trigger happy refs I've ever seen, and that was one of the worst DQ's I've seen. It was a scrappy fight, the Iranian wasn't solely to blame.
Even thought he should have lost by ko ( and finally lost the match due to teh appeal ), the Azeri kid showed some neat skills, he's definitively one to keep an eye on if he turns pro and can fix his stamina issue. Reminded me a bit of Cotto when he's on his hit and move shtick
The Japper landed precious few, MWS, I think a 2 point round was about correct, but the Japper should have won on a TKO, the Azaeri must have gotten the weight completely wrong.
The Jap clearly landed more. He was down in the first part of the round, then he started piling it on and landed a lot of clean shots. Here's to Shimizu San :bears:
If the Jap had landed clean shots, the Azeri would have been stopped. It looked more to me like the Azeri ran out of gas than he was actually getting hurt. I don't even remember one of the knockdowns to be from a clean punch. I'm glad they overturned it, but it's really far far far from the worst ref job I've seen. There are a couple guys I've liked so far: The light welter who whupped the american: Daniyar Yeleussinov The tall superheavy: Ivan Dychko Some of the americans have potential, but none looked overly good.
Ivan Drago looked OK against an underpowered German. Best KO of the tournament so far belongs to the big indolent fellow from China. Best last round of the tournament so far is split between the America Brown and the Australian Hooper, on one hand, and the Japper vs Flopper on the other.
I like American Lightweight Jose Ramirez Light Heavyweights Osman Bravo of Nicaragua (great body puncher) and teh Ukranian Oleksander Gvozdyk (he's real good it seems to me) Still Like Terrell Gausha of USA a bit. Lomachenko, of course.... and I haven't been able so see any of the British guys yet, are they much cop?
That was an absolutely shocking "decision" for Ogogo today, he was being pummelled in the last round, pillar to post
Aye; blatant home town robbery. He got punched all over the ring in the last round and only lost it by two points. MTF
Who did Gogo fight? Americans dont seem to have it these days, not impressed by any of the young Americans, am or pro, including Boner. Honestly I think it'll be a while until there is an American as good as Ward, let alone Floyd.
I thought Anthiny Joshua was pretty luck last night too, although it wasn't as bad as today's decision
Another Cuban. Got his head smashed off all the third round and won on a 'button press' after points and count-back were level. MTF
Its already happened with Anthony Joshua. Its pathetic but the reward will come later down the line when these "Olympic Gold Medalists" are getting Khaned in the pro ranks.
