I really liked Dychko, but the top seed, Mahommedrasul Majidov, beat him 16-9 at the 2011 worlds and is probably the favorite.

 

I saw the Gogo fight. Actually pretty similar to the Joshua fight.

Close-ish 2 rounds, then the Brit gets the crap beaten out of him in the 3rd round.

there's nothing amateur about the way lomachenko fights. not sure why he didn't turn pro after winning the gold in beijing. that dominican dude he beat today looked hard to beat. tall and lanky, kinda akin to celestine caballero.

 

How come? Guy looks like a little fighting machine, he looks more pro than almost any amateur I've ever seen.

 

Same here, it's bizarre that he didn't. Surely he got some great offers from promoters etc.

There's no question that body shots are not getting the same credit as a flush jab or a right cross.

The American Gausha was another who did not deserve to lose last night, and he put in some nice body shots
