Six-minute, standing ovation at Cannes Film Festival.

Like I said, people are calling this Tarantino's masterpiece.

    Come on! It was obvious!
How can you 'spoil' a fucking histórical event??

    By totally changing the narrative!

You know very well what I meant. It is like saying before watching Inglorious Basterds 'BTW, they kill Hitler in the movie theater'...

I don't get why movie-spoilers are such a big 'snowflake' deal these days when 99% of movies are brainless popcorn with no substance to them?
They're pretty much what you expect it to be.
With Marvel, anyone who's seen them all knows what's going to happen anyway: Avengers assemble, quips are quipped, scenery gets smashed, and there's a teasey bit after the end credits.
Not to mention the fact that Disney has released heaps of footage in trailers and TV spots and the cast and crew have given interviews hinting at the plot for months.
That's called having your cake and eating it.

Modern movies don't usually have big gobsmacking twists because they're built to thrill, not to shock.

Why’d you read it? You know that’s what he does. He’s a miserable unhappy prick and tries to spread his unhappiness on the board by screwing stuff up for everyone else.

I’m fortunate to have been smart enough to not read his dumb thread because I knew exactly what it was and I’m ignorant enough to not know shit about those murders, so once again, no spoilers.

    See my above explanation, cretin.
You can't 'spoil' a movie.. unless the person affected is a feeble-faggot-ho who still believes in Santa Claus.

    Probably.
    And especially Kung-Fu.

And in this movie, Rick, Cliff and Bruce Lee save Sharon Tate, Jay Sebring and the others....but in real-life, he probably was responsible for Sebring's death by telling him to use one-inch-punch against Tex Watson (who had a gun at the time)...all because Lee was a fuckin retard who never had a proper fight in his life.

So you don't believe in the time tested power of suspense to enhance the experience of a film? There's a whole fucking genre dedicated to it. Lol.

Obviously the appeal of some films depends less on suspense. But the idea that appreciating suspense is like believing in Santa? Come on!

In this minute in time when it's cool and hip to harken back to the 70's. What would you call it? Neo-crap?

I'm aware the movie takes place in the 60's. But the poster is clearly a 70's motif.

No. All of the imagery is 60s imagery... The Sharon Tate lookalike, A Manson lookalike, DiCaprio dressed up like Steve McQueen in Bullitt, the Cinerama sign in its 60s style lettering, the go-go mini dresses with boots, all absolutely 1960s ... the fucking cars are 60s cars ... only somebody that doesn't know shit and daftly thinks all of the above happened in the 70s would say what you're saying ...

I'm not talking about the imagery. I'm talking about the collage style. You're thinking too literally because you're an idiot. But trust me.

If movie posters from the 70's that prove my point strike you as random - that is bizarre.
