    Who wins?

I think Carlos would win a clear decision in a competitive fight. He had the jab and the skill to outbox Chavez from the outside, the physical strength and the infighting ability to match JCC on the inside.

I agree Ortiz wins, with his jab and organised boxing. But I do not think he is capable of matching Chavez on the inside. I think he'd be competitive there, unlike say, against Duran, but I do not think he'd be able to win as many exchanges as Chavez would. The way Ortiz struggled with Loi makes me think a Chavez win is likely, but still, I'd take Ortiz.

Maybe "match" was the wrong word. I was more implying that Ortiz could hold his own against JCC inside.

Ortiz was extremely physically strong. Thats something Rosario was lacking. Chapo was a huge puncher, but not a strong guy.

Chavez wouldn't be able to bull Ortiz.

The only Ortiz Chavez beats is the balding, drunk version that fought Buchanan

Seems were on the same page then. This is exactly how I see their inside exchanges going.

    Ortiz was a beast.

Ortiz is too skillful all around. Too complete. Julio would have his moments, though. The Puerto Rico vs Mexico rivalry alone would fire Chavez up and bring him to cause Ortiz some problems.

But he’s not winning. Ortiz via competitive but clear UD.
