    Jr.'s at 36-0-1.

Watch what happens when they go back and change that draw to a win () and his record goes to 99-0.

That fight will sell out Estadio Azteca.

C'mon brah, you know it would still sell! Not nearly as much as thier first fight, but it would still sell extremely well. The only issue with DLH-Tito II would be the weight. Oscar would probably want Tito to come down to 154, but theres no way fatass Tito can make 154 anymore. Tito would prob want Oscar to come up to a catch weight of like 165, but DLH aint doing that! So on second thought, DLH-Tito II prob wont happn.

DLH-Chavez Jr is possible. Ive never thought of that fight, but it is very possible! And its a fight that Oscar would win. Chavez Jr sucks ass!

I don't know about Trinidad, I don't think it's likely the way things look now.

I wonder if Hatton's name will start to get some mention again in the De La sweepstakes.

    Yeah, read my posts above.

Ugh. The more i think about these things the more it pisses me off.

As boxing fans we've been fed so many bullshit matchups it's pretty easy to play the marketing angle of the other side.

    It's like a catch 22.

We wish boxing had more main stream appeal, but the more it does, the easier it is for the promoters and networks to sell snake oil to the casual fan.

The knowldegable boxing fan seems to get fucked both ways.

That's what made the early BAD fights so great.

It made sure that while the mainstream fans got their fights the hardcore fans would also have theirs.

I guess that's what Showtime is for now, though.

    They've become the new BAD.

DLH-Hatton is also possible for Oscar's last fight. But this of course assuming Hatton beats Malignaggi, which is no sure thing IMO. If Floyd fights Hatton again, I'll be ashamed of Floyd! Mayweather BETTER fight the Cotto-Margarita winner after Oscar, or retire!

I think ODH looked good in there. The opponent was weak, and the proof was that he couldn't win a single round. But heavy hitter or not, ODH "did" show signs of improved stamina. And I think this "can" be judged independent of the opponent - his staying on his toes throughout the fight and throwing many more punches than we're used to seeing.

PBF had very little success countering ODH. It will be interesting to see if ODH's improved work-rate (assuming he brings it with him in September) opens up more such opportunities, or if it turns out to be the key to his winning.

DLH will fade in the Floyd rematch, as always. Oscar's stamina is not improved, its just that Forbes is a C fighter. Oscar had bad stamina when he was 25, theres no way that at 35 isnt any better. You DLH dick riders are somethin else.

I agree, I also thought Oscar would have stopped Forbes but the guy turned out to be a though opponent.

I wasn't that impressed while watching the fight live but I re-watched it the next day and Oscar looked alright, this fight IMO did what it was supposed to do.

    A good tune up.

Yeah, he even faded against Mago back at 140 and in the middle of his prime.

He's had some fights where he's managed to finish strong, but others where he's faded. Even some of the one's he's managed a late stoppage - like Vargas - he appeared to be fading (and gettting arm weary) but still came up with the left hook that changed things.

DLH didn't appear to be that concerned about his defense against Forbes...he will be in the rematch, and that will require energy.
