if there are any guys deemed unbeatable, pacquiao certainly isn't one of them. mayweather still holds that distinction retired or not retired.

calzaghe comes close, considering the guy has never lost a fight.

if joan guzman can keep his fatass down at 130 and be more active, he could probably be one of those guys as well, but too bad he keeps eating his way out of division after another.

You need to re-word that, because I could literally give you dozens of examples.

Guzman BARELY beat a Jorge Barrios who couldnt evne make weight. That guy is nothing close to unbeatable.

i thought guzman won 8 rounds. barrios didnt make weight, but didnt even seem like he tried and instead tried to pull a castillo (from the second corrales fight).

I thought that was an excellent fight, I had that one close and even thought Barrios might have eeked it out even though he wouldnt have gotten the belt anyhow.

Barrios made Guzman work hard to get the DEC in that match

    Yep...

The Manny Pac of TODAY Isn't the Manny Pac DESERVING of the Top Spot, Lb 4 Lb...Manny's Only Near the Top Now Based on Career Achievements & the Fact that Nobody has Beaten him DECISIVELY Enough to Warrant Dropping him...

But N REED's Opinion, Joe Calzaghe is CLOSER to his Prime than Manny Is...Despite their Age Difference, Calzaghe Still RESEMBLES a PRIME Calzaghe, More than Manny Resembles a PRIME Manny...

As Such, REED Ranks Calzaghe HIGHER, Lb 4 Lb...But Since REED is CONVINCED that Floyd's "Retirement" is Utter BULLSHIT, the Highest REED can Rank Calzaghe is # 2...

Indeed that's true. Calzaghe resembles "prime" calzaghe far more than Pacman resembles his.

It's funny though, why the hell were you one of the only people to acknowledge what I was saying was true about Pacman losing his fire and passion to fight? :kidcool:

It's one of those weird instances, where something seems so obvious, yet loads of people somehow just don't see what you do :dunno:

REED Doesn't Get it Either, Mex...

Manny's 1 of REED's Favorite Fighters of the Last 5-10 Years, yet REED is OBJECTIVE about him More than Most...REED Doesn't Get PASSIONATE about Manny, 1 Way or the Other (Except on Fightnight)...

It's GLARINGLY Obvious that his HUNGER, his FEROCITY is NOT "There" Anymore...Manny USED to B a Fucking ANIMAL, but Now he's CIVILIZED...

He's like Sylvester Stallone N "Rocky III"...He's LOST the Eye of the Tiger:lol:...He DOESN'T Get as PISSED OFF when he Gets Hit & he DOESN'T Wear that Same "Primal Grin" During his Ringwalks...

It's been obvious for a while, and was PARTICULARLY noticeable during the MAB re-match. Manny, who once upon a time blew through MAN like he was made of paper, stayed out of the way and did JUST enough. IT was strange to see, and it was CLEAR evidence in my eyes that Pac had had just about enough of putting his ass on the line when he knew he didn't need to.

I thought he lost the JMM fight by a round also, and the lethargy and self-preservation was evident again there.

It's hard when you get a perception of a fighter to shake it, especially when that perception is of the kind of thrilling, 'get in there and cause carnage' perception that Pac created. Unless you really ARE willing to be objective, you won't see it until the very end.

Kelly Pavlik is 1 of the NEW Gatekeepers of that Type of Perception...& WHENEVER he LOSES that Desire to DESTROY, it'll B just as OBVIOUS as it is w/Manny Pac...
