Pacquiao will deserve to win the fight due to more activity, making the action, landing more shots. Floyd will land some clean punches that may stay in our minds due to how flush they land but he will never really hurt Pacquiao. Pacqiao will punish Floyd and by the end of the fight we will see him more beat up than he has ever been. To me the key is not PBF's handspeed vs Pac's handspeed. And it's not power vs power. It's Pac's fast feet vs Pbf's declining foot movement. Floyd has great defense but it's going to be rough against a guy who throws such fast powerful accurate combinations and it's all coming from a southpaw stance. Floyd will time Pac a few times and hit him good but in the end it will not be enough. Pac will *deserve* to win the clear decision. However, I think Pac will get the SD or maybe the Draw. Throw some money on the draw.
Big Steve, that's what I've been saying all along. Pacquiao is too fucking good to beat easily, I think these Floyd groupies are in for a surprise if they think their boy is just going to dominate him and beat him up. Floyd knows it too, where is why he had to pretty much be backed into a corner to finally make the fight. He certainly doesn't see Pacquiao as an easy win. That's why I think the fight is going to be boring btw. Floyd fears/respects Pacquiao and will fight at his safety first, potshotting "best", and make the fight as slow and uneventful as possible. Unfortunately Pacquiao will probably oblige the slow paced boxing match, as that's the type of fighter he is now, not the young, wild, ultra violent beast that trounced Barrera etc.
No shame in that, Morales is a brilliant fighter, and he was at his best. Still wasn't an easy win, and of course poor Erik became another trouncing victim in the rematches.
If Pacquiao can hurt him early, within those first 4 rounds... I think we may just see the aggressive Manny that night. Maybe it's hoping against hope. But I do think that Floyd is an opponent that Pacquiao GENUINELY dislikes. That could play a role in how he approaches this.
For the most part I think you're right that it's very unlikely to beat him easily. However, he can be KO'd as we saw with Marquez. If he gets KO'd early then that would be beating him easily. Other than that, he's going to give anyone a lot of problems.
Both guys need a victory to place a capstone on their legacies - so I'm hoping for that reason, Pac in particular comes to fight and lays it on the line. Floyd will be naturally cautious and terrified of losing his "0", we know that. The entertainment value of this fight remains with how Pac fights. Hope he's ready to go out on his shield, will make a fun fight.
Sure, that's always a possibility, and yeah most of the time that would be being beaten easily. Even with Marquez though, I don't consider he was beaten easily. He was starting to beat Marquez up, and got KO'd partly through his own cockiness.
Floyd is chopping wood n paying some chef chick $1000 a meal........and Pacquiao is training in the right handed(maybe it common thing but don't remember him sparring orthodox).....HUGE fucking ring...
Even though the fight is made and happening...let never FORGET. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/UkigEfHmzh0?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
