All things being equal, smaller hands should hurt more than larger hands. Same energy dispersed over less area. Or something like that.

HISTORICALLY, the Better Punchers R BIG, HEAVY Handed Guys like Foreman, Liston, Cleveland Williams, etc...It's NOT Absolute, but REED would Give a LARGE Handed Guy a BETTER Chance of Being a "Puncher" than a Small Handed Guy N his Same Weight Class...

I agree. Think of the difference between a hammer head and a sledge hammer head being on the same stick. The extra weight creates a harder hit.

We gotta tip a few cold ones in Big D, REED.

He also wants to showcase the diversity of his stadium.

    The turnout will be interesting.

It may be the biggest cliche in the sport but styles make fights. Going by your line of thinking you would have thought what was the point of making the Mosley-Margarito fight. After all Cotto beat Shane and Margarito KO'd Cotto right?

The fact is Clottey gave Cotto a very tough close fight just like Shane did to Cotto so this fight will not be a sparring session and should be very competitive. If anything I expect Clottey to do better than Cotto did.

By the way did anyone see ESPN talk about this fight? Those mofos were on their discrediting Clottey and actually said Cotto wiped the floor with Clottey.

I actually called into my local radio station a week ago when they exclaimed "who the hell is joshua clottey?!?!!" explaining to them that if they don't follow boxing that's fine just shut the fuck up with idiotic comments like that. Many people had Clottey winning that fight as i remember, and i had it CLOSE for cotto.

did anyone see Pac on ESPN.com??? He said he took blood the day of "Morales 1."

I call pure bullshit on that. yea... THATS why you lost to Morales, pac-man.

Its like preaching to the blind. I told them that clottey fought tooth and nail with cotto who was pac's last opponent and they didn't even register it. they said i sounded like a true boxing fan but boxing is dead and then i started to try and get into it with them and they cut me off... par for the course with Denver radio personalities when a caller calls in to disagree. i said my piece tho hehe

Yeah...that's why I said all things being equal...i doubt all things generally are equal when a guy has bigger hands...he probably has bigger arms and that leads to a bigger punch...but I don't know...

no idea if guys like hearns, tyson, freitas, jackson, mugabi have big hands or not...

so clottey is getitng a million plus ppv upside.

sounds to me like arum stands to make more money from this fight than he did on the mayweather jr pacquiao fight where he would have to split proceeds with GBP.

Yeah but now Clottey's trainer was denied a visa and can't get to America.
