:: he was on his knee and absolutely clear when Barrera landed his rabbit punch and even after that he was not out... :nono:
It's not about LATIN, he's stupid and wrong 99% of the time. I don't even read half of his shitty post when he's following me into "Manny Pacquiao" threads. I swear the guy post about Pacquiao more than I do (just do a search for his post). In all honesty, I don't hate Fagquez. I already stated in another thread that if he beat Pacquiao in the rematch next year I'd be one of the first to give him props. LATIN QUEEN didn't say the same however when I asked if Manny smashes Fagquez, would he give Pacman props? So who is more of the hater? I used to dislike Fagquez's style up until about 2 years ago when Fagquez decided he was in his 30's and needed to make some money. Let's get real, the only reason the Pacquiao - Fagquez fight was entertaining was because Pacquiao came to "bring it", and that forced Fagquez to come out of his "Yawn" Queerquez style. That day he became Fagquez the aggressive counter-puncher instead of Queerquez the boring faggot who waits half a round for the other guy to throw a punch. Up until the first fight with Pacman, Queerquez's career was a boring collection of bouts where he would wait around for the other guy to throw a punch and then counter. He basically lost the Freddie Norwood fight because he couldn't pull the trigger often enough (he also got put on queer street by that bum). Recently, his fights versus Pac, Terdsak, Jaca, and Barrera have been easier to watch, but why did it take 43 fights for Fagquez to reach this level of watchability? Is it a genuine style change to garner more fans or is age catching up to him in a way that forces him into harms way more often so that he actually has to FIGHT. :dunno: In the end, I'm just having fun with Fagquez's questionable sexuality. I really don't care if he sucks cocks in his private life, that's his business. I just like seeing his queerboy fans getting so angry over nothing. I mean you can tell guys like LATIN are just sitting there furiously typing an angry response everytime I bring up Fagquez's butt love. You have to ask yourself if it wasn't true, why would he get mad? ::
Dude I have the video on my computer right now and I'm looking at the knockdown. Here's how it goes: - Barrera and Fagquez trade haymakers, Barrera's gets their first. - Fagquez starts to tumble to the canvas and braces himself with both of his hands - Fagquez is literally there on all fours trying to stand up and THEN goes to one knee - Nady doesn't seperate the fighters or call the knockdown, Barrera proceeds to move towards an obviously out Fagquez and bashes him in the side of the skull - Nady takes approximately 30+ seconds to resolve the problem, and Fagquez recovers and goes to his corner as the bell rings.
Marquez had boring fights, of course, but I don't see him as a stinker at all. As for the rest, I understand you're just having fun getting Latin King all riled up.::
That is a great action fight for Pac:cheer: Linares is tough but he won't survive Pac past 7 rounds. The fight I really want to see is Pac/Guzman. Curious to see the outcome.
This may be a little premature, considering Linares' lack of experience, and me only having seen one of his fights BUT - I think Linares would give Pacman a tougher fight than Guzman. Partly due to style. Linares is quick and smooth and fast. Pacman would smash the shit out of guzman. What does guzman bring to the table that would threaten pacman?
I don't think Linares has the physical strength to deal with Pacquiao yet - or proven his endurance yet - and frankly I think he's getting a little too overblown at this point. I like him as a prospect, but that's taking into account the fact that he's only 21 and projecting him with more experience and maturity. I would favor Guzman against Pacquiao at this point.
That's absurd, unless you somehow think pacman is shit or something. Would you care to explain why you think guzman would take pacman?
Who said anything about hating JMM? I barely even talk about him and Pacquiao anymore :dunno: I think he lost to Pacquiao, that's pretty much all I said in this thread. Oh and yeah the past few years he has had some better fights for sure but in the past he had some stinkers. First impressions don't often go away easily.
Guzman is possibly the most overrated "underrated" fighter in the sport right now. Three years ago, he was incredible. Now he's a slapper, fighting two divisions over his best weight and fooling new fans with his incredible skills. A puncher with stamina and some offensive ability will beat him rather comfortably, IMO.
If guzman fights Soto I am not even sure he gets past him. That's an excellent matchup if it happens.
I think Soto will have a hard time getting a bead on Guzman, but I also see Soto possibly hurting Guzman badly. This is going to be a tough fight to call.
I think Guzman is faster by a good bit. Has a better chin as well. However, Soto is bigger and hits harder. I like that matchup a lot  Winner should go onto bigger and better things.
Winner gets the "Winner" of Pac-Fagquez II according to Arum. The Featherweight divisions are saving boxing IMO.
:: Based on what? His split decision win over barrios? His decision over Terdsack, the guy who was taken out by Marquez? The fact that his last 5 or so fights have been decisions, over average opposition? :dunno: When Guzman annihilates someone the caliber of Morales or Barrera, maybe you could have a point, but right now, he is better than Pacman based on what? I doubt Guzman even beats Soto. Pacman would obliterate Guzman. Joan has to be one of the most overrated fighters in the sport right now.
I don't form my opinion on head to head match-ups by looking at Boxrec. Nothing on Guzman's record suggests he can beat Pacquiao, I still think he's more talented than Pacquiao and would beat him.
More talented? Guzman don't hit harder. He is a bit more versatile and probably has SLIGHTLY quicker hands. However the biggest problem I would see for Guzman in that fight is Pacquiao can fight a high paced 12 rounds. Guzman? Not so much so. If Pacquiao couldn't hurt Guzman (which I think he could), he could have a very good chance of outworking him.
Not by a ton, I don't see it as impossible for Guzman to win. The other outcome would be Guzman outboxes him. Tam would tell you I am a big Guzman fan. However since moving up in weight his power isn't much and he don't fight consistently the whole fight. The power thing don't bother me but the lack of consistent work does.
If Linares keeps winning as well. Unproven prospects have a much better chance of getting knocked off than a proven, excellent fighter. Linares looked real good against larios but we see guys look good for a fight or 2 all the time and then get exposed.
