Pressure from the best 160 pounder in history would be too much in my opinion.

I agree. Margarito with plaster wraps has a shot.

This washed up, semi-active, coming off a beatdown Margarito wins rounds, and actually hurts Manny, and yet a prime version doesn't?

Pacman would NOT beat Hagler. Nor would he beat Leonard, or Hearns.

Pac-Duran.... now THAT we can discuss.

He didn't win a round, he was also the same fighter, just 3 pounds heavier. You realise he's only 32 right?

You're either a troll or a complete and utter retard. I actually think the latter.

Again, if you think any version of Plasterito stands a chance against this version of Pacquiao, you have the IQ of a fencepost.

    What Round did Margarito win??....

Pacquiao was visibly hurt once to the body...but 5 seconds later he came back with a flurry of punches....

    but again...what round Margarito won...?

Please show me the version of Phony that wasnt an easy to hit sloth, and I'll show the version that could ever beat Pac.

    Good luck in your journey.

    You're a tard.

Not in my opinion. I think it's generous to give Margarito a single round. The judge that gave him 2 rounds was being polite.

Margarito, sans concrete wraps, is an average fighter it seems.

It's all fun speculation, but how do you think Leonard would beat Manny?

that was a physical fight. i was most impressed with pac's durability and his ability to land combinations that late in the fight. not sure who else is there for him to fight (assuming mayweather doesn't go through w/ it).

Same. To be honest I didn't think he came particularly close to winning a round. Every time he landed a punch, Pacman would come back with more.

Like I said, Tony in the Cotto fight had Cotto retreating to the ropes in he 1st round, his pace never slowed, and he only got stronger as the fight went on, which he was known for.

This version just sucked completely, barring some bum tune up fight, not seriously fighting for damn near 2 years, and coming off a devastating KO loss probably does that to a guy.

And he did win rounds, on the Brits scorecards and he official ones.

I understand Hagler, but Leonard and the Hearns that fought at 147 seem open for discussion.

If you don't understand that his pace slowed because he took around 2000 headshots, then you're really one of the least intelligent people ever.

What I loved about this fight was listen to Emanuel Steward look like a complete moron again.

In the first round he could ".....already see that the jab is going to be a big problem..." for Manny.

As early as the second round Manny had adjusted and the jab became a liability for Margarito. Almost everytime he threw it Manny countered over top of it.

He took a lot against Cotto too. But he was imposing his will early, something he didn't do here. He fought a lot from the outside here.

He bullied Cotto on the onside and was relentless in pressure.

Prime Tony has a ton more offense for Pac to deal with.

I also find it funny that Pac is beig overrated for beating corpses for damn near his last 5 fights.

Mike Jones won his fight on the official scorecards. Doesn't mean that was what actually occured.

Yeah sure, but I think Manny might be getting some credit because he weighed 106 pounds in his first pro fight and just beat the hell out of a guy that weighed 50-60 pounds more than that.

    What a dolt.

You did see that Margarito was trying something knew...he wasn't pressuring Pacquiao early. It seem he wanted to box him a bit and use his jab..but by Round 3 when he got all fucked up he went back to the pressure mode of previous fights...but when you get hit with 40-50 fast power punches..it kinda discourage you a bit...

Margarito was putting on the pressure as usual...but he was getting hit and missing a lot more than usual.

He didn't take anywhere close to the amount of clean shots Manny landed.

And it's probably a bit easier to bully and discourage and overpower your opponent when you have concrete in your gloves, idiot.

TLC is young and tries to be a contrarian. He has no real opinions. He just tries to counter what seems to be public opinion.

    Fedor's a fraud.
    Roy Jones was a fraud.
    Manny's a fraud.

See the pattern? Ignore him and he'll go away.

    I'd agree.

I'm from the Philippines and am a big Pacman fan.

But this much is certain, while Pacquiao would most likely lose to the prime versions of all four at welter and above, you damn well can be sure Pacman would've given them a better fight than Mayweather would've.
