The ref needs to be sanctioned. That was a complete and utter disgrace. Like Pac said after the fight, it's boxing no one has to die.

Yep, just because Margarito can tell you how many fingers you're holding up doesn't mean he should be allowed to continue getting beaten to a pulp.

I wanted Margarito to get his ass whipped, but even I was hoping his corner threw in the towel in the 10th or 11th.

Margarito was trying to give it back but received a beatdown and a half and it was a beatdown he deserved.

    WAR PACQUIAO.

This is the most accurate description of TLC's motive that I have seen. He is a career turd/troll that has to make a name for himself by contradicting the obvious. He then furthers his points (or lack thereof) with offhanded quips and statistics that are completely irrelevant.

I dont want him to go away. The world needs idiots. It gives all of us somebody to laugh at everyday.:partie:

very one sided but still the most exciting pacquiao fight since the marquez rematch. margarito made him work and roughed him up quite a bit. the type of fight that takes something from a guy even in victory.

on another note rigondeaux was very lackluster and disappointing.

What else did Pac say during the post fight? About his next fight and retirement.

pacquiao says that was the hardest fight of his career. certainly he got hit less than vs morales and marquez, but margarito's size sure made it rough and grueling.

He said he will fight anyone....it's up to Mayweather...

    He is not retiring..

He admitted to being hurt multiple times both to the head and body by Margarito...

In a local interview just awhile ago, he's said he's still got a few years left and will definitely continue to fight.

The interviewer averred: "Well, at least until the next elections." And Manny smiled.

I hate all this politician bullshit myself. But I think it's worth saying that his political stock largely depends on what he does or will continue to do in the ring (everyone here in the Philippines knows that). Manny is up for re-election in 2013. By then he'll be 33-34. Just maybe, if Manny declines considerably enough during that span of time, Floyd (if he doesn't end up in jail) will finally decide to fight him.

Same here. The corner was a disgrace, as was Lawrence Cole, who always seems to be doing a poor job whenever I see him reffing.

Neil you're out of your mind. Just admit your scumbag hero got the fuck beaten out of him and be done with it.

Trying to give Plasterito credit any way you can.

"The type of fight that takes something from a guy even in victory". Hahaha. No.

PLasterito hung in there and made him work. That's about all you can say. Pacman had to constantly move and constantly punch, it was a solid workout. Pacquaio took almost no punches in return. Plasterito was a heavy bag, just a bigger, more aggressive heavy bag than Clottey.
