Mosley as evidenced in the Coward Jr. fight is shot. Pac will just batter him from pillar to post and stop him late. Poor Shane. This is a bad time to take on Pac. Pac might seriously damage poor old Mosley.

I've looked around online and can't find any fight/fighter odds yet.

I think the odds on a mosley ko win would be shorter than mosley to win on points, simply from seeing what mosley did to floyd in the 2nd round.

I'd like to see how pac would respond to that type of big hit, even several big hits during the fight.

I hope shane makes it an interesting fight. I wouldn't want to see another dominant pac performance, but imagine very highly that that's what we'll witness.

Berto is coming off a win.

There's wasy to make a case for Berto that don't invovle Freddy Hernandez.

Unless you think he compares favorably to Mora.

Shane hasn't won a fight since Januray 2009. That will be 2 years and 4 Months in May 2011.

Paul Williams will be next, coming off a brutal loss and drained down to welterweight.

And Berto's have seen to it that he won't have any such problems.

Shane needs a huge pay day and i'm glad he's going to get it in fighting Manny, but yeah, I agree this is a shit fight. From what i've heard and read, Roach apparently wanted either a Marquez or Berto (which would've been better fights) but Bob put Shane in line next instead.

Suprisingly though, I kinda agree with what Hut said on the risk-reward degree for Pacman.

It's telling how Mosley gassed after only three rounds against Floyd and didn't look all that good against Mora of all people. But he can still punch, and still has enough speed to land on Manny the same kind of bomb he stunned PBF with. And he'll definitely hit him way more than he hit Floyd. He's physically stronger too.

Pacquiao has fought as many fighters coming off wins in the previous few years as Floyd has.

And he won't be getting any needles in him...at least not the supervised kind.:hammert:

    There's hope yet.

Absolutely the worst case of cynical match-making at this high a level in a long time, if you ask me, excepting one fight --- Mayweather-Marquez. That's the only one of a similar nature arguably worse than this one.

Come Hell or high water, I won't be watching this one.

It's still better than a non existant win.

  16. That's funny. Still, that "coward" didn't run and hide after Shane hurt him badly in the 2nd.

  17. I don't see anyway in which Shane doesn't get seriously hurt in this fight. Shane has to win this fight in the first 3 rounds or he goes to hospital.

I don't get the point of this fight. When Floyd fought Shane it was a very little reward fight. Now there is no reward.

Floyds last 5 opponents are coming off KO wins. The last time a Pac opponent was coming off a KO win was in 2007 against Solis.

Why KO wins? Because it suits your arguement? What's wrong with just wins?

I don't get why everyone is saying Shane can still punch. I think the last punch Shane threw that had any real mustard on it was the one that hurt Floyd.

Did you guys not see the Mora fight? Did y'all not see Shane stumbling all over the ring when he tried to punch or looking like he was incapable of putting any kind of power into his shots. He drew with freaking Mora and it's not like Mora was running from him. There were lots of opportunities when they were on the ropes and Shane was completely unable to take advantage of it because he's beyond shot.

So how the fuck is Shane going to be able to land anything of significance on Manny? Do you really think Manny will let Shane land one of those lunging haymakers he does? Shane is finally going to get stopped which will fuck up the one stat he could have kept unblemished.

Arum is just disgusting with his obvious money grabbing at this point. He's old and about to die so cashout fights for him...

LOK I'll eat your asshole alive

Shane is gonna go back to his Margerito form and beat Pedquou from pillar to post

i hope he slaps him with his pomona black snake afterwards

I'm a huge Mosley fan...don't want to see the guy hurt. But Shane is the kind of guy who needs a complete ass kicking to retire him. Floyd embarassed him more than hurt him. Manny could have him vertical.

    "However"

Floydidiots should secretly root for a Mosley win...if Mosley beats Pac gives you cause to say there was never a reason for Floyd to fight a guy who couldn't beat a guy he'd dominated.

    Wait...

Already have the excuse with Marquez...gives you two guys to use that argument with.
