Shane is well past his best. He's slowed down considerably, his reflexes are gone. All he has is his bravado, a hard looping right and a very good chin. Not exactly what it takes to beat Pacquiao.

 

Manny Pac is no defensive genius. Why is everyone overlooking this?????

What are you fucking blind? Shane was getting caught with big wide shots from slow-ass Mora. He was gassed out and stumbling around the ring toward the middle of the fight with his mouth wide open gasping for air against both Floyd and Mora, and his punches have nothing on them anymore. Even when it looks like he's swinging fast and hard you can look at the punches and see they don't have anything on them. Look at these highlights from his last fight and tell me you still think Shane has a chance.

Only a top drawer can demand Oympic style drug testing.

And Pacquiao will get through every demand he has now that Mosley has exhausted all other options.

Pacquiao wants to defend his 154 pound title in a 147 pound fight, he´ll do it.

Shane's only chance is an early ko! he has to go in there looking to hurt Pacquiao early or get Kod himself.

I still think that Shane is dangerous in the first 2-3 rounds. Against Manny he'll have his chance early because given his age I doubt that Manny will have too much respect for him.

I think they will engage early and if Shane can't hurt Manny he'll get stopped early.

The reaon the fight won't go long is because of Nazeem Richardson. This is not Garcia with Margarito. Richardson won't let Shane take too much punishment.

Shane is a proud fighter but as old as he is I think Richardson will have a short leash when Manny starts to batter him.

 

The only thing Shane has over Manny at this point is physical strength. He'll have to try to get Pac against the ropes and mug him. Clinch as often as possible and grind away. Basically fight Ruizesque. He might be able to at least make it uncomfortable for Pacquiao.

 

but he has a small window of opportunity to pull that off. The more the fight goes the more tire he will get. He has to get it done early or he'll get killed early.

If it's true, then PAC is definitely juicing. In which case I hope Shane beats the shit out of him.

 

I hope that's not true but at the same time Jeff's always been a cool straight up character though,so it might be.

 

Shane's too brave for his own good. I hope his corner is merciful and stops the fight early in order to prevent serious brain injuries.

 

Shane will be by far the hardest puncher Manny has ever faced. We'll see what happens if Shane lands the kind of shot he landed on Floyd.
