The fight is in 2 1/2 months. The NSAC rules can and will change after the precedent of the biggest fight of the last 20 years. This fight is bigger than the Nevada commission.

Thats just too bad then isnt it? If this is such an issue, move the fight back. Get the shit changed and then ask Pac to take the new required test for Pro boxers in the state of Nevada.

Nevada won´t do that. Other states can´t get big fights, because of the state tax. The casinos will let the NSAC know that they better not dare fuck with their business one way or the other.

So AGAIN, bottom line is Pac is backing out of the biggest fight of the last 20 years because he's unwilling to undergo a slightly more stringent doping protocol. We can twist this as many ways as we like and come at from as many angles as you like - thats the bottom line. Pac's motivation clearly isn't the integrity of Nevada's future authority in doping tests. And dropping out of the fight purely because Floyd has made a demand, irrespective of the contents of that demand, would just be cutting off his nose to spite his face. What are we left with in this discussion here?

YUP......you leave 30-40 million on the table cause you don't want to agree to random drug testing...you gotta be hiding something.

Has Pacquiao&Co. tried to negotiate a final testing day before the fight. Pacquiao says he might be weaken by giving blood so close to the fight. Maybe they can work something out where the final date Pacquiao has to give a blood test is 7-14 days before teh fight...

That's what Mayweather's team is trying to negotiate:

"Schaefer also told ESPN’s Dan Rafael that “we are OK to move off USADA, “What we’re saying, and what is important to us, is four things – that the tests be random, that they include blood and urine and the time frame, meaning when do you stop the tests before the fight but know they will still be effective. Three of them we have agreed on –random, blood and urine. So now it is a matter of the two sides working out the specifics of the cutoff date to assure it will still be effective.â€￾

    Pacquiao's response? A deadline:

"The American's camp were told by Pacquiao's people that the Filipino would not agree to blood-testing in the 30 days prior to the fight."

Seriously, having them take less than a tablespoon of blood 10-15 days before the fight will weaken Manny so much that he won't recover come fight night? I mean come on people, this is fucking bullshit. Manny doesn't want random testing during training camp, that's the bottom line. You can think it is because he's superstitious or a devoted chatolic or some lame bullshit like that or maybe you can accept the facts and recognize this is Manny fucking things up.

this is just more and more proof that most of you faggots have an atrocious bias against Pacquiao.

Out of nowhere, known criminals accuse him of cheating. Without one iota of evidence. So how do these unbiased observers react? "Oh he must be hiding, he must be cheating."

Pacquiao has made millions and will continue to make millions. Mayweather's camp is pulling out an extremely pussy move that is unprecedented. Doesn't Mayweather need to fight Pacquiao?

A guy with a nearly unprecedented resume needs a fight against a coward who retired and is now tossing demands out rather than just going through with protocol and fighting Pacquiao.

Something a lot of people miss is that Pac is being accused of cheating by Mayweather Sr, Oscar, Shafter and Ellerbe, all noted low-ballers.

Why should he? He has never been found guilty of cheating. I dont see this as pac leaving 30-40 million on the table. I see this as negotiating. Do you think Floyd sets the rules and pac should just bend over and get fucked? Floyd doesnt set the rules. This is all a power play by both people. You notice floyd is backing off, just as Arum thought he would. Who is actually in control?

    So what is it now?

First the explanation was, that Floyd was scared and looked for a way out. Now Floyd is backing up a little to make the fight. So is he not scared anymore?

Btw, to my knowledge Mayweather only agreed for another authority to do the random testing, which Arum demanded. But now Arum is suddenly taking another step back saying, they´ll only do what the NSAC demands.

I dont know anything about Floyd being scared. Im not making that point. This is a power play. Similar to 60/40. My point is that FLoyd doesnt make the rules.

How is agreeing to stricter testing getting fucked? Pacquiao gets the same thing out of the requirement as Mayweather.

Because he would be allowing mayweather to call the shots and make the rules. Make Pac do something just because. There is no proof to suggest that pac has cheated. If you walked into a bar and met someone for drinks, and they said take off your shoes. You would look at them and say why. And if they said take them off now or else we aint having drinks, how would you feel? What if you didnt want to take off your shoes? If you ended up taking off your shoes, you would feel fucked over too. But guess what? Pac doesnt have to do shit. Floyd doesnt run this shit.

Or like my analogy, someone asking you to take a lie detector and forensic tests, based on nothing more than that you LOOK like a criminal

Even being completely innocent, your reaction would be "fuck you" would it not?

Trying to analogize to a criminal setting is not appropriate. Well, now that I think about it, for Pacquiao it probably is appropriate to treat this as a criminal matter since PED's are illegal.

If you want to admit that your position is solely based on bias for Pacquiao or against Floyd or some combination of the two, then I don't have a problem with it. At least it's being honest which is more than the other Pacquiao supporters on this issue can say.

Again, when has this been required in professional boxing and could you please describe the post that PBF has to give him the authority to change the drug testing rules in the sport? I await your answer. You do not the Olympics is not professional boxing, you do know that right.

I was never a Pac fan or a Mayweather fan. I enjoy watching their training clips on youtube, thats about it. I used to bait Cupey mercilessly over the sites love for Pac.

I happen to believe that a new power structure exists in Boxing, vis GBP promotions/Ring magazine, and I do not see why they should be allowed dictate terms to Manny Pac.

    Thats all.

Do I suspect he is doing PED's? Yes. But he might not be. Can I prove he IS? No. Is there proof? No. Is there a chain of evidence, documentary, eye-witness etc? No......"It Aint Whatcha Know, Its Whatcha Can Prove"...remember?

What you've got are a bunch of heavies trying to re-write the rulebook, claiming to be representing boxing, but really not giving a toss about anything other than their cash, and how to make more of it.

To my knowledge, it hasn't been required in professional boxing before. I consider that irrelevant because of what is being asked of Pacquiao.

PBF is a guy who makes a fight with Pacquiao worth $40 million to Pacquiao. That is all the authority he needs to ask for better testing procedures.

We've seen people negotiate coming into the ring before a champion...that is the type of requirement that may be considered bullshit, imo. But, whatever, money talks and if some jackass gets off by walking into the ring first then let him negotiate it into the contract.

Oh and the preliminary fighter who gets beaten to death by a doping opponent...has no say.....and has no need to ask for better testing procedures?

Its like..."Shutup Bum...you aint no playa!!"

You tell me. Would a preliminary fighter be justified in asking for more stringent testing procedures?

I would like to applaud you HutHut a.k.a "The biggest Floyd hater on Fightbeat" ...your clear thinking and perspective on this issue is commendable. I also like the way you calmly crushed the biased and hysterical arguments of Freeike

I would agree with you if Mayweather was fighting a nobody like Marquez or Chop Chop or Castillo. He isn't. He is fighting a superstar and Floyd is not in any position to demand anything. He has no authority. Pac will make millions against anyone he fights. PBF needs Pac. How soon you nutlickers forget that Pacman destroyed Floyd's legacy single handedly. So your answer seems to be this has never been done, but Floyd has some mythic authority you have given him. Tell me what is Floyd's position called?

So, if some guy in a tee shirt comes up to you on the sidewalk and tells you to move you think that is equal to an officer doing it. Your point is moronic.

Get this through your fucking head. Pac does not need Mayweather to make millions.

I can't believe anyone needs props for being on the 'more-testing' side of this issue. The view from Pacquiao's colon has really clouded a lot of people's objectivity.

No. Because the current format does not stipulate for them.

But if it did...and he asked...then he should receive....whether he stood a snowballs chance in hell or not.

As it is.....the request for the imposition of new standards, simply because Floyd is Floyd, and the money is big, is unreasonable. I think this should be distinguished from a request to maintain existing standards....

An Example: When Wlad Klitschko fought Peter, he insisted that the gloves be weighed. This was a very unusual request, but it fell within the framework of existing legislation and so had to be upheld, whether Larry Hazard thought it was "Bullshit" or not.

Here, the framework does not exist. So an otherwise reasonable request falls outside the framework of what is legislated for.

Floyd wants an exception to be made. But that is unreasonable. After all, if Manny is doping, he is doping for a reason, and that reason is to beat, nay, destroy the likes of Cotto, Oscar and Hatton, and it is THOSE PERFORMANCES which are MAKING THIS FIGHT WHAT IT IS.

Of course, its even wackier when you consider that Floyd then goes on the record as saying that Pacquaio has only been fightng shot bums.
