Pacquiao Vs Cotto, November 14th -Boxrec

This will be a beating.

Pac by KO, like Hatton, Cotto's china chin, susceptibility to Lefts, inability to block straight punches, and limited, borderline robotic "titoesque" footwork spells disaster.

 

1. Your a fucking hater. Do you even follow boxing? Who the fuck has knocked Cotto out? Last time I checked he took some serious bombs from Judah, Mosley, Margarito (with loaded wraps) and Clottey and he was not dropped with a chin shot. How can you even say he has a china chin?
2. Cotto has problems with left's? Do you homework it's the right hands he can be hit with.
3. Cotto is limited? Thats one hell of a limited fighter. I havent seen him outboxed yet and he's fought some pretty good competition.

No non-rican on this board has been a bigger fan of Cotto than myself. I picked him to destroy Margarito, bought into him being a truly elite fighter. What I have seen during the Marg fight and after is someone with minimal confidence, who doesn't sit on his punches, who flurries and runs.

He was hurt badly by Judah, on more than one occasion. Judah is a horrible finisher. Manny on the other hand, is a terrific finisher. This is not an indictment of how bad Cotto is, he just matches up VERY poorly with Manny.

Floyd/Marquez/Shane, those are people who can give Manny hell, because they can counterpunch, have the handspeed to neutralize, and the chins to take the heat. Cotto is in for a rough night against Pac.

 

Cotto has the chin to take the heat and he has the offence to test Mannys chin believe that man.

 

I think he was being nice. Shane is so happy that Margarito let him kick the shit out of him that Shane even said he thinks Margarito's trainer was the one responsible for the plaster wraps and said sometimes a trainer will do anything to give his fighter an edge.

In other news Roach is off his rocker again. He's claiming Manny deserves a 70/30 split for this fight. I don't think he's demanding it but just countering the argument that Cotto's lawyer made.

I don't think any split between 2 of the top fighter's should ever be less than a 60/40 split, especially if it's a PPV. That should be a fucking rule so that it doesn't even come up where it gets the chance to ruin a fight. Boxing needs a fucking commisioner that actually commisions.
