Why are we acting like Pascal just didn't beat Dawson?

Except Pascal doesn't 'outwork' anybody. Which people who watch boxing occasionally know. He throws 40-60 punches a round in sporadic bursts and spends the rest of the time out of range feinting. He isn't a Jermain taylor of Joe Calzaghe who will force a fast pace.

Hopkins is so old he might well not be able to hack even Pascal's pace now, but Pascal fights nothing like the guys who've 'killed' Hopkins (by contentious decisions) in the last 5 years.

 

This is on Primetime in the UK I think, thank fuck I can watch these fights on TV instead of some shitty stream on my Carlos Baldomir of a computer

No outcome will shock me in this one. Hopkins by stoppage would be a big surprise actually, but any other of the 3 options probably have about a 33% likelihood without knowing how Popkins decrepitness is coming along.

Hopkins is very good at making fighters throw nothing. I hope you are right but i expect Hopkins to land his right lead hold. Wait 30-45 seconds rinse and repeat, Pascals defence is not that good.

Let me be the first to pick Pascal by some sort of stoppage, TKO or DQ with Hopkins on bad legs refusing to fight while repeatedly complaining, fouling and holding.

 

In Hopkins' case, no. Kissing is a foul and probably the only one Hops has not tried before

Although I do respect what Hopkins has done and admire his longevity in the sport, I do want Pascal to put the old man away.

I hadn't really noticed before, but you're right, Jeanette does have pretty girls eyes and puckered little lips etc.

 

This is the fight where Hopkins gets old overnight and is whupped thoroughly.

 

Hopkins comes out to the best extrance music of all time. I'm now rooting for Nard hardcore to smash Pascal.

 

Pascal makes great entrances.
