Nothing against Williams but I'm glad he LOST. He was talking too much crap. Now he can move to Super-Heavyweight where he belongs.

Why are you guys so surprised about Ledderman?

He's a shit judge, always has been, always will be.

    Good solid win for Quintana.

Yep, switching stance is what Cotto does when he get's hurt, buzzed or embarrased, thankfully he eventully found the kidney region.

Williams seem like a nice guy...humble and shit...it was his supporter that made him out to be more than he was....how he could beat Mayweather, Cotto, etc...

No, he switches from one way to the other, trying to shake off the butterflies, it's like poker, don't let your opponent know that your about to fold, luckily though, Cotto openned up a can of kidney beans.

    Bloody hell, surprising.

Indeed, this makes lil old Miguel look all the better, and supremely overrated Margery look all the worse.

    Damn!

Just...FUCK IT! I'm so pissed right now. Williams made Quintana look like the ultimate boxer for most of the fight. Just walking around eating just about every punch Quintana threw while missing his own by at least a foot! I didn't even know that was possible!

Well, I'm not gonna be a bandwagoner. When his game is on (I don't know what that even MEANS right now ) I still think Williams is the man. But all credit to Quintana; he made the best of his opportunity. Paul needs to let those cuts heal a while, and learn how to fight with his hands UP. It was amazing (read: "stupid") to watch someone who has no instinct to put their guard up on the side they're being hit.

In a way this is a pity, cos now Mayweather has an excuse to fight neither Margarito nor Williams.

Loss on threat's record, --- amplify and exploit.
Zero in the loss slot IF
WITHOUT any noteable struggles along the way (option on it's own merit), THEN
use one or all of the following,
"who's he beat?","unproven","unworthy". If god flatly rejects a fight appearing completely intimidated and disturbed, CODE RED, use all of the above frequently and stalk the opponent for the rest of his seperate career.

    Fraud groupie Qbasic.

I'm still a Williams fan as well, and he's still a top contender at welter and will be a good fighter for years to come. HOWEVER, his weaknesses were definitely exposed last night, and I'd give him ZERO chance at beating either Floyd, or Cotto.

Well considering how easily he gets tagged by southpaws, and considering that Zab hits harder, and faster than either Quintana or Mitchell, I'd say its entirely possible that Zab could have beaten Williams. I dunno about now, cause I think the Cotto beating took alot out of Judah, but the Judah that beat Spinks woulda mopped the floor with the Williams we saw last night.

So now we pick and chose volumes?,.. what about the Zab that fought Tszyu?, Fraud?, Cotto?, Baldomir?, Pineda?, etc... how does he fare?.. and what version of Williams are we matching him up against?.. Did we give Zab Quintana's brain for this, did we install it?.., .. can we give Zab a blonde mohawk?, customize his trunks a lil bit?..:crafty:

Any of those versions of Zab fare well against Williams, considering that Paul cant avoid any southpaw punches to say his life.

Well I think it's a humourous and clever exaggeration X,... to say, Paul Williams really sucks against southpaws, one could definitely interperate that through "He's lucky he never fought Zab!"..it's extreme, like "taking FOREVER"..as in taking, say,.. a few minutes longer. :bears:

I didnt say he sucks against southpaws, but based on the Mitchell and Quintana fights, his defense damn sure sucks against them. Quintana hit him at will, Mitchell hit him at well too but Sharmba was too old, and small for it to matter.

Zab might not be as skilled as Quintana, but he's awhole lot faster, and more powerful. He'd have been finding the range on Williams w/ease.

Yeah right. If you had asked me prior to tonight I'd have told you that Judah has the style to have given Williams hell. I'm not knee jerking anything. I never proclaimed Williams as the second coming prior to last night. I thought he'd beat Quintana, but I never thought he could beat Floyd, or Cotto. Hell I thought Cintron had a legit shot at beating him, which is why I was surprised Kermit pulled out.

Zab Judah couldn't give Mephisto, hell. It's people like you that continue to keep this guy somewhat relevant, when he isn't and hasn't been since he got beat by Baldomir. He's utter trash.

Physically gifted, but trash. He'll never beat a decent fighter who doesn't crack at the first sign of trouble. Never has, never will.

    Exactly.

It's just as easy to look at Zab quitting like a bitch to Baldomir (back when Zab was supposed to be at his peak), and saying he's lucky he never fought Williams.
