I'm not so sure Kessler even beats him these days. Kessler really looks like a shell of himself.

 

There's some signs of decline but I don't think he looks all that terrible. I wouldn't mind seeing that matchup but we'll have to see what goes on in the tournament. It'll probably be awhile until Kessler's free.

 

Kessler is declined from the fighter he was 3 years ago, but then again so is Pavlik probably. But even the Kessler that beat Froch would fuck up Pavlik. I see Froch at this point as being a superior fighter to Pavlik. Froch believe it or not is more athletic then Pavlik, and was able to fight off the backfoot to some success. Whereas Kelly is as slow on his feet as any elite fighter in history, and would just come at Kessler, and get picked apart. Kelly isnt better then Kessler in ANY area! Not ONE.

Kelly is a fucking pussy. I never liked him. This 168 BS is just that. B to the motherfucking S. It's an attempt to create, or augment, the idea that he really was weight-drained for the Martinez fight. He can fuck off. He brings FUCK ALL to 168, which is FAR deeper than 160.

 

Kessler is coming off a morale-boosting win against a fucking mule in the form of hitherto unbeaten Carl Froch. This "Kessler is dying of multiple-sclerosis" routine has to end.

 

Agreed. Kessler is past his prime, but not washed up like some are claiming. But even a declined Kessler owns Pavlik.
