Taylor would have a hard time beating any title holder from 140-168. Junior Witter is the only title holder in that range that Taylor might have a chance against and I'd still pick Witter by decision.

he just beat Spinks who was a title-holder at 154. and he beat Ouma who had held a title at 154. Kris. He's the king of the 154 pounders.

it's at 160 that there's a lot of guys who could probably beat him.

Spinks was robbed. Even Manny Steward didn't think he won. Ouma kicked Taylor's ass and he wasn't a title holder when they fought.

There are a lot of wealthy homosexuals in Nob Hill, I'm not one of them.

Full House was filmed only blocks away from where I live. The Olsen Twins are not attractive to me, though Lori Loughlin was somewhat amicable to my eyes.

he's 3/5 correct. i believe it's true that he'd have a hard time beating title holders at 154, 160 and 154. it's at 147 and 140 where i think he'd shine. maybe DiBella should switch from 154 pounders to 147 pounders.

    Taylor/Margarito anyone?

Speechless is correct Sly. Taylor is not a fighter I like to watch. But the posts on this thread have shown the intelligence of many posters on this site.

Taylor won virtually every round agaisnt Ouma. Spinks was robbed by running away. Sure Jermain didn't do shit but that was more then Spinks done.

    Well said...

Whether you agree with the decisions or not, Jermain Taylor is still undefeated after fighting two of the best P4P fighters of the last 10 years in Hopkins & Wright.

I don't care much for Taylor. I think he's regressed slightly from an ability standpoint, but he I would pencil him in as a favorite or an even money bet against anyone from 147 to 168 including Calzaghe, Pavlik, Miranda or Abraham.

After the snoozefest against Spinks everyone is quick to bemoan Taylor's ability. However, anyone stepping in the ring with him is faced with a big, rangy, and capable middleweight who presents significant problems.

Most fans would pick Hopkins easily against Taylor in a 3rd fight based on their respective last fights. But once the bell rings Bernard would still be faced with the same issues that kept him from walking through Taylor in their previous bouts.

Agree..Tito has been out for tooo long...to jump in with a bigger guy...NOW even after the last to Winky had he stayed active fighting even bums..he could've taken Taylor...but coming straight out...i wouldn't bet on it.

Screw Duddy! Miranda even after losing to Pavlik is a more legit opponent. Duddy shouldn't even be considered. It's a no win situation for Taylor. If he wins "Who did Duddy ever beat" if he loses, well I don't need to explain why that's bad.

Well the Duddy fight will probably be a bigger money fight than a fight against Pavlik, and with less risk. Taylor vs. Duddy would sell out the Garden in New York....while Pavlik vs. Taylor will take place in a half empty arena in Arkansas or whatever...FOR HIM to fight another 147/154 i prefer a fight against Duddy. Big Money, sell out crowd, good publicity, and maybe a good showing by Taylor..probably not.

I'm surprise Taylor hasn't called out Fernando Vargas....

Jer-bum Taylor last Saturday. Apparently, myself and a few posters here are the only people in the world who know how to score a fight though.

Trinidad has been retire for 2 years....the first time he has been in a gym since the winky fight was to visit Oscar's training camp...:nono:...Duddy is active and is top 5 at Middleweight...behind Pavlik, Miranda, Abraham...now that Winky moved up to fight Hopkins.....

So he went life and death w/ Campas....so? His a brawler like Margarito he couldn't avoid it..he doesn't have the skills to box and move..so he brawls. WHO did Jermain Taylor beat before fighting HOPKINS, to make US think he could beat Hop?....Joppy?..the same Joppy that was KO' by Trinidad...and brutalize by Hopkins...

Duddy and Pavlik are just suggestions...as long as Taylor fights one of the top Middleweight i don't have a problem...shit i would not care if he fights Miranda..styles makes fight...Duddy,Pavlik, Miranda have the style/ and power to give Taylor hell...

Campas recently lost a comfortable decision to,..what I guess must be another 'top 5' opponent really, (:crafty: must be pretty crowded up there in that top 5),...but unlike Duddy...who nearly died in the ring, and was convulsing on his own vomit, with his eyes popping out of his head, and blood spraying everywhere like a manga animation,... this particular 'top 5' middleweight who we'll call 'Mr unknown',..comfortably handled the unrelenting warrior, with apparent ease,....

 When you say top 5?.. do you mean,..'popularity' plays a part in your rankings? ...just a question, because I think Duddy, who recently struggled against a journeyman who I guess we can call a 'top 6' middleweight, just isn't going to win the middleweight championship of the world, because a parade of inebriated green lepracauns say so.

Styles makes fight...Duddy struggle with Campas because both are brawlers. You know the same way Brawling head first Margarito lose easily to Rodney Jones, but skillful mover like Cory Spinks had an easy time with him...

What other top Middleweight are out there...?...So if a fighter has some problems in a fight he should never be rank..?...man JL Castillo should not fight Hatton.....WOW Tszyu should've never defended against Hatton since Casper struggle w/ Vince "Tszyu Daddy" Phillips...

Well if Duddy's a brawler, who brings the hurt, the heat, the power and the passion, how come this much elder version of Yori Boy Campas, couldn't take 'the pressure' from vastly smaller opponents in his 'prime'?..We saw how effective Oscar De La Hoya and Tito Trinidad were at middleweight, what makes Yori Boy that unique breed, to have viciously mauled what you say is a ''TOP CLASS'' middleweight, and then how do you explain, that in his most recent extraordinary outing, directly after Duddy,..he was handled comfortably by 'Mr X'..?..:dunno:

:notallthere: WTF!?,....Don't you mean, Tszyu shouldn't have defended against Hatton because he absolutely steamrolled Vince?.. Hatton won virtually every round, apart from the 4th, but in Fraud-groupie terms, that still means a 'shut out'. ( A 6 rounds to 5, with 1 even, means a 'shut-out' to Fraud groupies like YOU:nono: ).
