Alright, I'll end it here, since we will just wait and see, but Cung Le throws so many Tae Kwon Do techniques in fights it isn't even funny. He throws all of those turning side kicks and the whole arsenal at him. Hell, the man finished his last fight with a spinning back kick. He's exactly what I mean, a guy who incorporates Tae Kwon Do with not only grappling, but with traditional kickboxing and Muy Thai styles. Most importantly, these guys are experienced in hitting and getting hit, and when you look at guys like Brock Lesnar in MMA, sometimes that experience means more than anything.
Great point. When Brock goes into turtle mode you see a guy who I wonder if will ever get comfortable with a fist in his face. Although this is definitely something that isn't really a point with Frankie Edgar or Gray Maynard. Both guys have shown the ability to take a punch. Cung Le is definitely the best to suit your point. But I would also contest if he ever stepped up to Elite level MMA he would get owned trying to pull off his spinning back kicks.
