He took a shot at me, I returned the favour. Now you're trying to get involved. Why not leave well enough alone Sly? I assure you it's all for the best...

There's a "Must have lost to Floyd first" clause in the contract language for Pacquiao opponents.

Ortiz needs to lose to move on to a bigger and better fight.

That's a loaded question...your argument is based on Berto waiting until the guys who would have beaten him moved up (like Cotto, Williams), aged and got their asses kicked (like Mosley and Margarito).

His best bet are against guys like Ortiz (who he lost to) or Bradley who are coming up from 140.

If anything, it says more about how poor 147 is than how "good" Berto was/is.

There's basically a top two then the rest should be unranked until you get down to let's say 13 or 14. That's how huge the drop in talent is.

Cotto, Margarito, Clottey and JMM disagree.

add in Marquez....as far as I'm concerned...Marquez is 2-0 against Pac...now is the perfect time for Pac to beat him...post-Mayweather.

Pac clearly should have won the first JMM fight.

You said that Ortiz isnt hand picked and by our logic no one outside of Pac isnt worthy. From there you said that we think may should be innactive.

my point is that just because you are active doesnt mean your opponents are worthy. You can be inactive with unworthy opponents. The fact remains that Gatti, DLH, Baldomir, Marquez, Ortiz were all hand picked. when was the last time May fought a mandatory?

Marquez? So Pac didn't fight him twice before he fought Mayweather?

It makes sense that Pac would fight more guys that Floyd has already fought. Floyd has been a welterweight much longer. Of course Floyd wouldn't have fought a bunch of guys Pac already beat, besides JMM, since they are all much too small for Floyd to fight.

Ortiz is not that good.Floyd should win this handpicked fight if he's in top form.

did you see where I said I felt Pac LOST to marquez both times? Thus...granting a third fight after losing to Mayweather.

Keep up. It's all in print to revisit when you need to.

Two names Maidana and Peterson a one handed Mayweather jr is better than both of them.....it will be good fight until Ortiz get seriously hurt..after that it's DONE....

Yes Victor show heart, valor, courage, motivation, etc..etc..vs. Berto but that was ONE fight...both guys were about the same level...both were tired after 5-6 rounds...Mayweather won't be exhausted clinching and on shaky legs for rounds..and rounds...

Well Cotto and Margarito were both available and both more worthy than Ortiz.
