tap the only competition it looks like ud be in is a pie eating contest. Phonetap would need another body to have a shot at me in sports, unless we weight lift, cause then I mean sheer bulk takes over.

But be clear, I'm not some bum, I can play ball, and i would abuse u if u didn't play college level.

The pathetic part is you bought the PPV. It's your scarlet letter Valdarver...the shame will follow you throughout eternity.

Let's look at it this way...

Chris Smith was 15-0 at the time fighting a guy who was 13-6-1 one on the UNDERCARD of a pro women's fight.

How much of a "decent sized bet" could it have been?

I'm sure Vegas and all the off-shore betting places were ALL OVER that action.

What you fail to realize Valdarver is, the more you try to rationalize it, the more retarded it becomes. Stop tossing stones at cats who buy PPV's when you're on record buying a WOMEN'S PPV card.

Roy Jones is one of the greatest fighters of this generation and even on his last legs, purchasing his PPV has more credibility than purchasing ANY female boxing PPV.

You're just pissed that you're on the ass end of that statement and I won't let you forget about it four years later.

That's just truth and you should have known it was coming. I'm always teasing you about it. "Lighten up!"

Things aren't very humorous after what, 4 years? The problem is Musze don't know what the hell he is talking about. It's not that hard to get a good sized bet on any fight that is listed by using multiple books. Especially when that fight took place and it was easier to move money. If you have 2k on a fight going over 4.5 rounds, do you think that you are really going to be concerned with 35 bucks to buy the PPV?

BTW- I don't regret it and would do it again. If I have a big bet on a garbage PPV, I will get the PPV.

It's the best stuff to bet on. Often times the guys who make odds on that type of stuff don't know as much as they would on more public fights. The smith bet for example was a win. Smith couldn't punch for shit and yet the over was still low. That made no sense.

So you're telling me that the odds on Hanshaw beating Jones aren't good enough for you to lay a bet "however" a prospect in a setup fight on the undercard of a WOMAN'S pro fight had such good odds you had to take that action?

Rationlize it all you want Val but that's pure bullshit.

Mind you, I don't bet because I'm not one of those degenerates who chases money every weekend, but that's a different issue.

With that said, we all know what's at play here...you've always hated Jones and that's the reason you made the comment. Like you said, you're tired of my bringing up your REEtarded purchase of the PPV. It's kinda like your buddies never letting you forget you took home and fucked that fat and ugly girl from the bar. You're happy you busted the nut, but embarrassed everyone knows about it.

Your defiance and continued support of your decision to purchase Christy Martin vs Laila Ali is admirable "however" your comment in this thread is highly transparent.

Actually that is exactly what I am saying. I am not betting the Hanshaw-Jones fight nothing is appealing. As His_Royness just said, I didn't bet on Chris Smith I bet on the over 4.5 rounds. It's really not that complicated and you aren't getting your facts straight. As for tonight the HBO card is 10 times better than that shit Jones PPV card.

BTW- The gambling degenerate comment is BS to. I do it because I make money. 5 winning years and 1 losing years. 3 of those years pretty much as good as a part time job. You have no idea what you are talking about.

    Again, the rationalization is retarded.

Whatever you made on the fight you automaticaly subtracted the cost of the PPV from your alleged profit. For a pseudo business savvy person as yourself, that makes no sense seeing that you could have checked the internet FOR FREE to find the result of the Chris Smith match. It's not like fight results aren't posted within minutes of the conclusion of the bout.

That's what you fail to get or fail to accept. Your reasoning for getting the match because you had money on one fight simply doesn't make common nor business sense.

I'm guessing you expect us to believe you watched Chris Smith, gained satisfaction in your profit then didn't watch the rest of the card?

The bottom line is, you wanted to see Laila and Christy scrap and came up with the Chris Smith line as a cover, but that dog doesn't hunt.

Just man-up and admit it...you wanted to see Laila and Christy punch each other in the boobies. :blobbox:

Lastly, the comment about gambling was a general statement, not specifically directed at you. I've known you for awhile and I've always had the impression that you pretty much bet in several places simultaneously to minimize risk, so you pretty much have a riskless profit. Most guys aren't savvy enough to do that...thus the comment.
