Coming out of Kursk, Russia, Povetkin is an amateur boxing legend who won olympic gold in 2004 and remains undefeated as he rises up the ranks at an unprecedented rate and continues to destroy every opponent with his quick speed, stunning power, intense agility, nonstop pressure, an iron chin, technical mastery, years of experience, lion-like reflexes, and the heart of a warrior. Along with the world's greatest promoter / manager, Vladimir Victorovich Hrunov (a man who fears nothing and gets things done at any cost) and trainer Valery Ivanovich Belov (a Soviet system boxing scholar who has been with him since he started), Alexander Povetkin will clean out the heavyweight division, duck nobody, and excite fans with his thrilling style in the coming years. Next victims he will annihilate: Calvin Brock/Eddie Chambers, Klitschko

The Heavyweight division is not "GARBAGE".

I like him too, he's really quick and seemed to have enough power to keep Brock thinking a little too much in there.
Povetkin hasn't looked too great in my opinion. Slight edge to Chambers.
At +500 you can't afford to not bet him.

They both have wins over Wlad victim, like Byrd and Brock. If I had to put the ranch on it, for me, a win over CB is worth more than a win over CB, if you see what I am saying.

Huck was a 20 year old kickboxer with hardly any amateur experience, so in retrospective that was a good bet, but if you think you´ll win every time, you bet an American in Europe you should know that Povetkin is probably the most accomplished amateur (outside of some Cubans) in the last 10 years.

Should be a good fight. I don't see much in the Russian but as Valdista said he is accomplished.

Povetkin by MD. I haven't seen much of him, but I have seen Chambers and felt that he is underwhelming. Then again, I'm not exactly keen on the heavyweight picture right now, so I'm biased.
