QPR will be fine, you are just missing one good forward to do something with all the neat midfield stuff. NUFC, on the other hand, are one win from safety. Happy days.

Faurlin is a huge miss though in midfield. Barton is back next game which is a bonus + we could have a new face or 2 in the line up.

Newcastle are a real tough team to play against.

That has got to be the most negative assessment of a Top 4 Push I have ever seen.

Newcastle need to concentrate now, not dissipate. If they finish over Liverpool, I would be the first to commend it.

Thoroughly professional, if raw, unit they are now.

Swansea 1-1 Arsenal. Swansea playing very well. Dangerous on the attack.

I knew Henry would score in the cup game vs Leeds, I knew he would handle the occasion. He fucking handles everything else.

    :lol::lol::lol:

Galloway's a bit of a pompous fandan but the first one's brilliant.

Newcastle will not finish in the top 4 or anywhere near it. Our squad is too thin- two or three injuries and we are back to being walloped by Norwich. I'd take 7th, right now, in an absolute heartbeat.

No NUFC fans think we are having a 'top four' push. Not one.

He's irritating on a personal level (which should by rights be irrelevant) but the guy's politics have been right, all the way down the line (particularly on the issues Hitchens was offensively, obsenely off base on). The demagogue charge really doesn't hold up at all, except mibbes in his annoying oratory style.

His politics involved doing anything he could to annoy the Labour mainstream, a mentality, and I speak from experience, which lends itself to mistake-making and overshooting. An example would be his personal commending of Saddam Hussein. A bridge too far. He was right to expose the hypocrisy of victors justice etc, but could, and should, have kept it onside. Another would his pretty obvious and shameless use of a racial/ethno front to get elected at the expense of Oona King.

OK, lets just agree that he's a knob but his nailing of that William-son on-air was top notch

Oh he's too good for rudimentary face-firsters, thats for sure, morons like that are mere food-for-powder where Galloway is concerned.

QPR won't get relegated. Relax. Maybe Sir Alex can give Mark Hughes a supportive call.

You know, people have been saying this to me for weeks & weeks and still we aren't getting the results or scoring many goals. We are in a relegation fight. Hughes has said that he wants to sign players that will "hit the ground running", which is vital. We need players to come in and lift the players spirit's up, because no doubt, our players must be feeling quite low at the minute after 9 games without a win. The majority of players we have in the team are championship level players and we need experienced premier league pros to join us.

Its going to go down to the wire in any case, at both ends, I think QPR will stay up. Wigan have rode their luck for a long long time now, going back to 2007.

They beat us at their place 2-0 last time we met, so revenge is our aim + this game is more like a 6-pointer. If we lose and results don't go our way, we could be bottom of the table. I expect a closely contested game with very few goals.

If Wigan stay up and we go down then there's something wrong with the world. I honestly cannot think of a more pointless club than Wigan. No ambition, no fans, just fuck off already.

Great manager who has learned the ropes at Swansea and now Wigan, really do believe he will go far.

Apart from that.....they are like the shite coming out the arse of a sheep. Mostly pointless.

Moronic owner. Two men and a whippet at every game. Pitch cut up like the Panzers just came through. Meh. Its a fixture I despise every year.....

I agree about Martinez, I think he's a fantastic manager, was a fan of his from the Swansea days. Wigan don't deserve him, and I think he's better than Hughes.

Yup, at least Blackburn have some sort of history, not including the title they bought in 95. Wigan are nothing. They haven't even been a league team for 40 years. Fuck them. If they went out of business tomorrow no one would give a shit.
