Brutal, Brutal experience. Was too tired to celebrate at the end. I just sort of sat there.

When Gerrard missed- I was tempted to pack it in. But I left the TV on. Miller missed, and I felt OK again. Then Adam missed and I was this close. I was even closer after Cardiff scored their first. Dirk- more on him later- steps up and I am feeling OK about it. Cardiff missed their next, then Downing credit to him hits a great one and its back in the balance. Cardiffs next penalty was every bit as good. I was close again to turning it off when Johnno stepped up- but his penalty was probably the pick of them- then the lesser-known Gerrard missed.

Bit disappointed Pepe never saved any of them but he did get close a few times, guessed right.

Thought Kuyt had it won. He's a massive massive big-game player. He always was. Gerrard has this myth about being the saviour but Kuyt is easily his equal. His big-goals list is one of the most impressive around. Winning penalty vs Chelsea, Eurpean Cup Semi 2007. European Cup Final goal. Away goal at Arsenal Champs League 2008, two goals vs Chelsea ECL Semi-Final 2007/2008 and 2008/2009 Quarter-Final, hat-trick vs United in the league, Winner against United in the Cup a month ago now almost hit the winner in the Final here- and cleared off the line for what should have been Cardiffs last chance. Stepped up today after Gerrard and Adam had both missed, buried it, then rallied the fans behind the goal. He's a massive player. Delighted for him to finally have won something at the Club.

Cardiff had 7 shots on target and scored twice. Liverpool had 39 shots, 21 on target, scored twice. Story of the Season. Incredibly, Liverpools last three trophies have ALL been won on penalties except in the last two games, Liverpool never led for any period of time. This time they did....for, oh, 8 minutes or so.

That Arsenal comeback was really something. Amazing game.

I wonder what pre match odds you would have got on Arsenal to come back from 0-2 down to win 5-2....

Fair play to Cardiff, they played extremely well and gave it everything. Have to say, Liverpool's finishing today was shocking.

Yesterday saw a few firsts for me.

1). First time I watched a full game without falling asleep (Arsenal-Spurs)

2). First time I watched back to back games. (Arsenal-Spurs then Liverpuel-Cardiff)

3). First time I watched back to back games without falling asleep.

    :partie:

The Spurs...I'm sorry...as I'm always corrected...SPURS...need their collective asses kicked for falling apart like that.

Liverpuel should be damn happy they won that game. There's no way in hell they should have given up the tying goal. I'm sorry EQUALIZING goal.

Watching that game was exactly like the women's world cup from last summer...save this time the team I wanted to win, won.

OI Bollocks!! If you're going to support a Merseyside footie team make it the original Merseyside team: Everton FC.

I've posted before...mostly about Liverpuel. I'm sure I had things to say about bitchass Fernando Torres and how useless Andy Carroll is.

Jimmy, Slice - you boys ready for a pounding this weekend? There's no way ****ing Anton Ferdinand can hope to contain The Straq!

Revenge for Goodison is very much on the cards.

It's that time of year folks. Its like Christmas time. You know, when you start hearing the old familiar one-liners and old-clichés....

    1. "If The League Had Started Yesterday We Would Be Top"

    2. "What a job David Moyesey Moyes Moyesy Davey Moyes has done at Everton"

    3. " The form table does not lie. Flying in the league, flying in the cup, Moyes is this months manager of the year again".

I'm concerned. If we play like we did against Fulham, you'll spank us. If we play like we did against Wigan, we'll beat you. I'm still positive we'll beat you.

These are our games left to play this season - Everton at home, Bolton away, Sunderland away, Liverpool at home, (new date to be scheduled), Arsenal at home, Man Utd away, Swansea at home, West Brom away, Spurs at home, Chelsea away, Stoke at home, Man City away.

haha, say what you like about Evertonians, but only one set of fans is deluded enough to waste time peddling this sort of shite: http://rawkprof.blogspot.com/

There is NO WAY that Queer's Park Rump Rangers will beat us twice in one season. No way.

Haha, you git.I never expected to type the following words, but i'm concerned that Gibson is out injured. He has done nothing spectacular, or even very good, but his arrival has seen Fellaini flourish in a bit more freedom.

Gibson is probably thankful that he's injured. Twitter boy would kick lumps out of him :stir:

We have seriously missed Faurlin. Our midfield has been missing that bit of stability and composure when the going gets tough, plus he links up play so well.

I really really really really want us to get the double over you lot. I would be brimming with joy.

Btw, has anyone seen Ronaldo's back heel goal at the weekend? It was something. Here it is.

In which case I apologise pal. A weekend spent around wembley with all your fans has left me nigh on paranoid.

    Anyway, leave Moyesey alone.

Went to a place called The Blue Room opposite Wembley before and after the game. I watched the game in a curry house down the road from Wembley whose name escapes me.

The Blue Room was great though - no one seemed to notice it and it was pretty quiet. It's mad though the way that everywhere around the stadium simply closes while the game is on. Ridiculous.

 Okay then. I will. In the meantime, stop googling Liverpool websites. Only set of fans that I know have a Liverpool fascination as bad as Everton fans are United fans- they had a special thread for the Carling Cup Final and all.
