BAN BOXING!!! Thats 5 horses and 1 footballer {or his career at the very least} in the space of 1 week. But we need to ban boxing.

Good luck to Muamba. Not sure if these incidents are more common than ever, I can only think of 6 high-profile incidents in the last 10 years- MVF, Clive Clarke, Muamba, that kid at Sevilla, and two Irish guys, one playing football and the other playing GAA.

My heart goes out to Muamba and his family. They say he is in critical condition at the heart attack center.

Now when they replay this match, are they going to be in White Hart Lane or the Reebok? That's fucked up if they play the replay of this in Bolton. Spurs were home team in the draw but only got homefield advantage(don't know if that American term translates well) for 41 minutes.

I think it will be at the same venue and will be replayed in full. It was 1-1, coming up on half-time, so no problems replaying it.

I hope he survives this, but it does sound a bit bleak.

    GO WOLVES!!! GO WOLVES!!!

Athletic Bilbao would not be good enough to play in the Premier League. Would not beat Stoke.

GO WOLVES!!! Change your fucking name to Puppies.

In related news, some ugly stopped me on Suchihall street yesterday trying to offer me a free fairycake and the 'opportunity to write a personal message of thanks to the British Armed forces'.:atu: Love it. Programmes about the Falklands on ITV & Channel 4 this week, too. PR blitz.

 Too bad for Celtic, but lets face it, much bigger fish to fry soon.

Good win for Liverpool. Fuck right off Stoke, fuck right off.

From what I can gather, he made no reference to Muamba's race or ethnicity, he merely made a comment about the incident and then had a laugh.

Frankly, I find it all a bit much.

How many of us could take ill in that fashion in our places of work, employment etc and be so quickly and well catered for. Muamba's care will be paid for. The hushed tones with which his collapse were met.....all a bit much. I think there were more raised voices on 9/11.

Let's face it, we all know there are worse-off people out there.

I don't know what he said so I can't comment on that.

Im not sure what you're getting at with this post? The stadium was quiet because nobody wanted to see a 23 year old athlete die in front of their eyes. Obviously there are people who won't receive the same kind of care, nobody has suggested otherwise, he was in a fortunate occupation when it happened. Still doesn't mean people can't show genuine concern for a young man in a life threatening situation. Does everything have to be met with cynicism?

Same. Makes you wonder what some of these folks are like in real life. Some genuinely evil shit posted on there.

I don't read youtube video comments anymore, it's pointless. You can easily get drawn into an argument, but you'd be wasting your time. Poster's on the other end haven't grown any pubes yet and will never listen to what you have to say and only reply with derogatory comments. The majority of them have no soul.

Nah, I am talking about the Berks in the Sky Sports Newsroom, not the people at the game, even Kenny Dalglish had something nice to say about them. I am not talking about the Spurs fans!!! Decorum was the only appropriate response there.
