Apparently Arteta took a 10k a week pay cut to come to Arsenal.

Im estatic with the signings personally. Was there a world class player bought in? No.

But whats better for Arsneal? One player worth 30mil(apparenlty bids on 35mil+ were rejected for Gotze and Hazard) or 4 players worth 30mil? The squad was crying out for some depth and experience and thats what Arsenal have now.

Arteta is a proven premiership player with a ton of expierence, it he can return to his form from a few years back he will be a sensational buy.

Park has a wealth of expeirence and everytime I've seen him play at international level I've come away impressed. Even if hes only here for a few years, he is a very astute buy imo.

Per, what can you say, Wenger has addressed the position most needed. He also has a wealth of experience and is the strong CB weve been looking for. Again he was at a decent price, so even if he does flop it wont be the end of the world.

Havent seen much of Dos Santos, but 22 caps for Brazil in the past 3 years would suggest hes light years better than Traore. I'm no sold of Gibbs either, so it was another position Wenger needed to improve.

The squad is vastly improved on what is was a week ago. I think Park will be the best signing of the lot.

Arsenal are better than they were a week ago. Still not better than they were a year ago

He replaced the tin foil he had with something stronger than tin foil. Certainly not steel. But the squad was strengthened. I like the signings tho overall

HAPPY, GAY AS FUCK CELTIC FAN ALERT

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...ding-ineligible-players-in-play-off-ties.html

Celtic reinstated to Europa League after Sion charged with fielding ineligible players in play-off ties

Celtic have been reinstated in to the Europa League, subject to appeal, after

Uefa upheld the club's complaint relating to the matches against Sion, the Parkhead club have revealed.

The Swiss club were charged by Uefa with fielding ineligible players in both Europa League play-off ties against the Hoops and the two European games were played under protest by Celtic.

Sion were initially drawn against Atletico Madrid, Udinese and Rennes in the group stages of the Europa League. Celtic will now take the Swiss side's place in the competition, subject to an appeal.

A club spokesperson said: "We have been advised by UEFA that the two protests relating to the matches against FC Sion have been upheld, as a result of which each match has been forfeited in favour of Celtic.

"We are pleased by this decision, the approach which has been taken by UEFA and the fact that UEFA rules and regulations have been upheld.

"We are also grateful for the support of the SFA in this matter."

Irish midfield, embarassing. Trappatoni isnt going to get this done, realistically the world cup qualifying should be the real priority

Yep. That said I don't think there was any reply. I think Cook sent an email back to another Citeh official and accidentally left her address on it. He was mocking her, albeit indirectly, and had intended to keep it in-house.

Carraghers a fucking liability. That's effectively two goal-causing fuck-ups he has been solely responsible for in the space of the last 26 minutes of football played by Liverpool.

To be fair, hes been a liability for 18 months now, especially at CB.

Arsenal have been pretty average the first half, luckily Swansea have beeen even worse.

He's been getting away with holding players in the area for years now. Plus his legs have gone now. Was a GREAT CB in his day though.

I figured Swansea to be good for a draw and right up till that goof, I was doing OK.

Coates has been brought in for a reason and it has nothing to do with Suarez, let me tell you. Jamie has been goofing for some time now.

Citeh all over Wigan but only 1-0 up.

The length of the grass at Stoke is a joke. I swear a Liverpool player passed the ball and it rolled like 2 inches.

Fuck the BBC. They did this before.

    Draw for Everton

Too bad, I thought they outplayed Aston Villa big time

Of course, I'm hardly an expert, but that is what it looked like to my eyes... some esciting plays in the game, I enjoyed it in spite of the end result

You're right mate. We bossed the game, and were unlucky not to come away with the win. Ross Barkley is going to be seriously good.

I wish Tim Howard would come for those crosses though. We concede about 5 goals a season which are headers inside our 6 yard box. They should be caught or punched away by the keeper every single time.
