You see Mex? You see what I've been dealing with here...?

Brother LOK. Honestly. Your hatred of Lennox is clearly pathological. My good man, just let it go...

If you felt lewis won it close, that's fine, I was just disputing the "won it convincingly" bit. It was not convincing, or impressive.

Convincing is Lewis against Tua, Botha, Grant, Rahman rematch etc

Lewis outclassed Holyfield in every department in the 1st fight.
Only some bitch-judge on the take didn't see it that way.

Holyfield always manages to be sick or injured when he performs poorly.

Shoulder injury, leg cramps, busted eardrum, heart problem, HGH-itis, etc...

Yeah that was the first case of HGH-itis.

The doctors said his symptoms were very consistent with steroid use and they asked him if he used (like Holyfield would say, "oh yes, I love steroids!")

Yep, Holyfield had juice stored in his latsssssssssss and trapssssssss, like the humps of a camel, every now and then he'd spurt like breast milk, and through the tiny pinholes in the pores of his skin, his cobra-neck would go off like a dolphin sneezing.

Admit that Holyfield never would've been Tyson without steroids and I'll never try to argue against any of your Mayweather bashing posts.

But then I'm likely to go on to make a scrumptious review thread on "Fraud's backtwisting and other various felonies" which would have you sidelined, and foaming at the mouth like a restrained mauler, and I can't do that to you, it wouldn't be fare.

That is what you would think by his looks

The truth is however that Mavrovic took Lewis' best shots and they were some humongous uppercuts and right crosses and he stayed right there. Mike Tyson cried and folded under lesser shots

In 1998, he went up against Lennox Lewis for the world heavyweight champion title, but lost after twelve rounds on points. In 2006 Lewis stated that that fight was "the hardest of my career".

I could see that. The Mavrovic and Mercer fights were probably the toughest distance/decision wins of his career.

The fight came just a week after Holyfield looked dreadful against Vaughn Bean and was heavily criticized for it. Lewis was beginning to make some inroads on Holyfield in terms of public/media opinion. Mavrovic wasn't well known, and was discounted heavily in the American press.

Lewis probably expected an early knockout...but at least unlike say Bowe against Golota, he showed up in shape and was able to gut out a tough fight against a fighter who was awkward as hell.

The hardest fights of his career were probably the Mercer and Mavrovic fights because he was a knockout puncher was forced to go the distance...not something he's used to.

The first McCall fight wasn't really a physically "hard" fight, in comparison. Neither was the Rahman lossm, really...he was winning handily and just got hit in what ended up being the last round. You could argue the Briggs, Klitschko and Bruno fights...but he ended those in the distance.

Against Mavrovic, he had to fight fatigue and his opponent.

no doubt.. MoWawk took a beating and I know Lemmon must have been frustrated..

with MCCall and Rahman he just got STRETCHED like a bitch... not really tough fights.. just got his ass kicked and then put to sleep

You guys are conveniently forgeting the Vitalie fight. Lewis just won't admit it but that was his toughest fight by far. He was in a real pissy mood after that fight also.
