Why did Roid get his ass beat by Tarver?

    If Holyfield hadn't lost the rematch or the rubber match to Ruiz, Jones would've fought him instead. He'd been looking for a fight with Holyfield since 1996 or so.

    Holyfield was utterly beatable by the late 1990s. After he beat Tyson twice, what great wins did he have? He stopped chinny Moorer, lost to Lewis twice, and arguably didn't beat John Ruiz in three tries.

    Roy got beat against Tarver because he got hit with a bomb that prolly would have ko'd anyone. The Johnson fight was a joke due to the fact that Jones should have taken more time after his ko loss. Had he had taken more time he prolly would have smashed Johnson. That's the fight I want Roy to take next if not Calzaghe. I'll Holla 5000

    i'll just say that before he went up and fought Ruiz.. had he fought Tarver, I think Roy whups him
