I think two brothers holding the belts at the same time will increase the popularity of the sport. Plus, if they fight on separate nights there will be more reason to tune in more often. Plus, if one loses, it's either instant rematch or an auto opponent for the other.

And there are enough decent challengers out there to keep two guys busy for quite a while. Gomez, McCall, Chagaev, Thompson, Valuev, Povetkin, ...that's enough for over two years right there. And move Solis to the front when he's ready.

McCall ???? You probably have the same dealer has him cause you're smoking some really good one if you think McCall is still a legit hw contender.

    I do.

He can be outboxed these days, but he is as dangerous as Brewster ever was and that's pretty dangerous. I think he would beat Arreola, for instance. He's also one of the few guys who has a real, albeit not big, chance against Wlad. He's gotten the WBC screwjob having to fight Gomez all the time to get a title shot.

Only if they fight each other. Otherwise, it's just two more champions that won't fight and who the hell wants to see that?

That old chestnut. Toney hasn't been a middleweight for YEARS. He ceased to be a middleweight once he started campaigning at higher weights. If he was 'blown up' then he could go down to his former class. I think we can all agree that isn't going to happen.

    I'm making a prediction

we WILL see brother vs Brother!!! :bears:

to me Quitalie is the poster child for German Robots though..

Wlad actually boxes nicely.. it's his chin and heart that I question.. but he punches nice.. looks better than any other HW by far.. he fights like a middle...

Quitalie is the real robot.. just boring, stand up, blah

Vitali, should have a fucking tune-up, fullstop. He needs it, to prove to himself and the rest of us, that he can still both train for a fight, and remain competitive with those incredibly brittle bones, he's also been completely inactive, and he's older now. Yes he dares to be another white fighter in the heavyweight division and is the brother of Wladimir "Jack Johnson" Klitschko, but if he shows some form, you would think under the bitter definition of "there's no one at heavyweight, waaaaah" that it would improve the scene a little bit?....unless..which appears to be the case, Vitali's participation only increases ''the problem''? :crafty:

It establishes him (Toney) as a heavyweight that is a threat in the division to anyone except the Klitschkos. And the same statement applies to most other contenders except maybe Mccall who always does have a punchers chance and would therefore be a live dog against the Klits. But we won't see either Klitchko in against MCcall because they are both terrified of the guy. What makes Mccall able to fight the big boys is that he has power and if he catches either Klit it would probably be over like it was with Lewis.

Well they need Vitali to clear the tough dangerous opposition out of Wlad's way. I give Peter and Mask a shot at beating Wlad, but I give neither no shot in hell of beating Vitali, unless of course he's way rusty, which he might be. Even then I give Vitali more of a chance than his soft brother Wlad.

DSimon has counseled Oliver McCall in secret therapy sessions under a hypnotic spell. He's instilled the eye of the tiger back into the psyche of "The Atomic Bull".

DSimon told him "There is no crying in boxing!", slapped him on the ass and yelled "Go out there and win one for The Gipper!"

WBC Gold Medal here we come!! :bears::bears:

Maskaev will take care of the older quitter in under 3 rounds, if the quitter ever makes it into the ring with him again.

there does seem to be some reluctance on the part of euro fighters to fight top 10 black heavies. although there's plenty of counter examples. maybe i'm full of shit. i don't know. i just know Quitali was clearly dead set against ever fighting Rahman for whatever reason.

but now that i think about it, that's really the only example. Valuev fought Barrett. Wlad fought Brewster and Byrd. Quitali faced Johnson and Lewis. In cast, there's no basis for this statement. I retract it entirely. Sorry.

 In fact, apart from Wlad-Sultan and Valouev-Ibragimov there haven't been very many title fights between these Euros, which is quite odd considering how easily they dominate the division

Wlad already beat Peter by the way. :dunno:

I don't know why you consider Vitali better than Wlad. All he has better is the chin. That is all. I think they are equally strong with wlad having more skills. Not to mention the better resume.

And that's comparing Wlad to the Vitali that was active years ago. The Vitali from now who can't get through a training camp without injuries shouldn't be mentioned at all.

No I definitly agree in that respect. Just not about the blown up middle weight part.
