    This is where you really either act dumb or are dumb. Wanting to see a fight and criticizing match making because they don't happen are two entirely different things.

    I wanted to see Hagler-Spinks back in 84 or so, but just because it didn't happen doesn't mean boxing didn't make good fights.

    I can dig that. I'll be the bigger man and concede that one (even though it's one of, if not the best fight that could be made in the sport)

    The other points stand. I don't see what the big deal is? We all agree that the best matchups haven't always happened.

    But again, we're dodging SD's initial point wherein he implied that the UFC is reluctant to match their champions against each other.

    That is incorrect. It's not the UFC. It's GSP not wanting Silva yet, it's Silva not wanting Jones, and it's Jones not wanting Cain yet.

    And again, the idea of the UFC forcing a dominant fighter to move up or down 15-20 pounds is among the dumbest things I've ever heard.

    And, on the flip side, I'm in no way arguing that MMA has boxing level match making. I'd LOVE it if boxing champions were forced to fight the best available guy in their weight class. Boxing, for mine, is a MUCH better sport - but of course I wish it was run like cage fighting.

    My posts here honestly had nothing to do with boxing.

    I have been very reasonable. When you say something i said is inaccurate, and i ask you what exactly is inaccurate, and you completely go off on some bullshit. I say you are being unreasonable. You will not even address my question. WHAT WAS INACCURATE WITH WHAT Z SAID. Because nobody here but YOU has said that all MMA fighters fight the best.

    What you should have done is agreed with Z and then go on to say that it doesn't happen all the time. Instead you went into troll mode. Try to change your opinion mid debate and act as if that was your initial stance from the beginning. It wasn't. You disagreed with my words, which never claimed it happens 100% of the time.

    If i am never going to be convinced that you don't care what we think and what's the point, why do you keep repeating it?

    As for the original debate, what it seems happened was that your ego pushed you into a corner that you couldn't get out of. That is why you are upset. Since you claimed that "Most of the fighters take on the best possible competition. You don't see much examples of people ducking other fighters. Usually the champ fights the next person in line", is an inaccurate statement, i have been asking you to explain how. You have been dodging my question by dismissing my relevance and even going so far as to try and change your position in general.

Back then, Pride was the best MMA organization until it was ruined by the Yakuza accusations and subsequent tv deal fall-through, so Fedor actually DID play his trade in MMA's best organization for a fair amount of time.
