    Take the Leonard that fought Kalule, and put him up against the Maravilla Hagler that diced up Hamsho in Chicago. What happens in a 15 round fight?

    Hagler wins a clear but competitive unanimous decision ... Leonard was too good to get anything close to beat down but I think in the championship rounds Hagler's superior strength makes the difference ...

    Hagler beat him in 1987. He's clearly going to beat him in 1981.

    Let's not pretend that Hagler was the only one who had slipped by 87. As the Hagler fans love to do. Leonard was coming off a 2-yr layoff, and already was past his prime.

    Hagler was quicker, and sharper in 81, but so was Leonard.

    Ray's speed, and movement would ALWAYS present problems for Hagler.
