Good one - though I thought the first was just as good...it's just the the 2nd was a bit more conclusive with the KDs and the ending.

Saad Muhammad - Yaqui Lopez II; hands down one of the best examples.

Griffith-Paret II is another (despite the ending).

    Monzon-Valdez II.

Sal Sanchez - Little Red Lopez II.

    Alvarez-Mendoza II.

    Basilio-DeMarco II.

    McLarnin-Ross II.

    Roman-Laciar II.

    Chang-Torres II.

    Martin Castillo-Alexander Munoz II.

    Good examples around...

    Peace.

Jones/Barrera II and Lewis/Holyfield II are the standouts for me.

That was a very close fight as Emile did a lot of posing in there and didn't let his hands go enough.
It wasn't a great fight (none of them were) but it was a very hard and bitterly fought struggle like all three fights between the two were.
Paret also really hurt Griffith a couple of times in the second fight, particularly when he bounced off the the ropes and opened up with salvos to the head and body.
I didn't think it was a bad decision as it could have gone either way, IMO.

Actually, I was curious if Donnybrook confused II and III.
