I like Cerrone so I'll be watching. I'm not too thrilled about the Faber-Pulver rematch though.

It's on Versus tomorrow at 9:30 EST.

The main event was good though, well until that knee landed.

Cerrone threw the knee while Varner was on his feet, but it landed after Varner's knees had touched the ground. So should it be a penalty? Because he threw it in a legal way, and then it landed in a illegal position.

I agree, it shows the ridiculousness of the rule, imo, Cerrone won by ko

The really funny part is the way Varner apologized for fighting so badly. He never really complained about the knee or the results. I think he was really looking for a way out. I think he was gassed and Cerrone was coming on.

In either case, Varner's knees were definitely off the canvas when Cerrone threw the knee.

And the Faber-Pulver rematch blew. Pulver needs to think hard about retiring.

His little tirade at the end was really embarassing and quite classless

Varner quit like a bitch. Cerone was about to whoop his ass in the last round and Varner found a way out. His "acting" was terrible. It was obvious he quit. I lost any respect I had for Varner after the way he acted. What a fucking fag.

I agree, the acting was bad, reminded me of Griffin after Roy hit him with a knee on the canvas:doh: I would be embarassed if I was him or in his camp. I am a long time fan of Pulver, but he is passed it, I would love to see him retire, but I think he has a few more fights on his contract with the WEC
