Yeah, and you know what, Beltran really blew it. He fucking went to sleep in the 11th and 12th and that was the fight right there.

And whose fault is that? Why did he go to sleep? He floored Burns and then, amazingly, coasted.

It was Ortiz Jr who gave it to Burns.

I agree with you. Beltran won, but you have to know your surroundings.

I only saw the last 3 rounds, but he was looking good in the 10th, then I guess he just didn't want to try harder the last round and a half.

Burns jaw is totally fucked. If that did happen in the 2nd, then fair play to him. Burns is saying that he will give him a rematch.

Promoter talking bollox about fulfilling their obligations with the WBO. It's like saying you want to fulfill your obligations with the local parking warden. Fuck that. Give him the rematch.

Just a calm interview, talking about the business. Not blaming Burns - totally aware that investments are protected in boxing.

    Not crying, but talking.

:bears: If they had done that we would have picked up on the injury.

Kudos to Watt in one narrow regard: he decided that there was something "wrong" with Ricky, as early as the 7th round, he put it down to family issues but he was correct in that Ricky was plainly not concentrating on the job at hand. If Beltran dislocated Burns' jaw for him in the 2nd, it was most certainly as a result of Burns being way too eager and way too sloppy and providing Beltran with the gaps.

If he was aware he should have gone for it in the last two rounds. Then again, Burns was still moving and making him miss. Rematch is in order.

Yeah. But maybe he's limited and Burns was shutting his offense down. Either way, he won.

Not the worst score I ever saw, but I alway's have a problem when the negative fighter, who try his hardest to make it a non fight by running and holding, gets the close rounds.

He ran and held, true but he also stepped off, speared his man with jabs, made his man miss. Beltran didn't turn the most dynamic performance, he was passive when he really needed, just once or twice, to let his hands go and be content with landing 2 out of 5.

Rematch in AMERICA will be a different outcome. Yeah, Beltran is an ESPN boxer who just exposed Ricky Burns as a hype job.

It's been obvious all along Burns isn't up to much. He's not a scrub, he's just one of those guys that's average at best on the world stage.

Precisely. Apparently, us coming on here and having a cheap laugh at the expense of the sensitive Boner Fan Club means Burns is "Hyped". I said it earlier....Burns is a bit of a poor mans Froch, a limited guy who fights good, steady competition in entertaining fights. Nobody really expects him to do a whole load, but the mere entertainment we get out of the kid is enough to send the Boner Brigade into meltdown. "HYPE!!! HYPE!!! THE HYPLISH ARE COMING"!!!
