Would be a fun fun fight IMO. Taylor would have to be heavily favoured....but Hatton would be on his ass the entire fight and would turn it into a mauling bruising fight.
Hatton wouldn't be on shit besides a lot of clean left hooks to his face. Due to styles, Taylor would have a much easier time with Hatton than Floyd did, IMO. Taylor TKO between 9-11. It would be mildly competitive for about 3 rounds, but after that it's one sided target practice.
Building on my previous post, Taylor had a VERY underrated hook to the body, and I always had doubts about Hatton's ability to take it downstairs. Also, Taylor was physically very strong at 140, so Ricky wouldn't even have an edge trying to maul him in close. Taylor was physically man handling a big welterweight like Aaron Davis at 147.
