Round by Round: Bernard Hopkins vs. Winky Wright

Round 8: Winky coming forward, landing marginally, and now Hopkins fighting Dirty, surprisingly. Whenever Winky gets fouled, he opens up. Winky landing ok, amidst alot of clinching. Hopkins flurrying a bit, but not landing a ton. good right hand by hopkins, and Winky comes back with a straight left. Hopkins throwing off some nice headlocks and bear hugs. good left by winky, but this is a hard round to score, definitely at Hopkins pace.

Hopkins are landing more and more and Wright is slowing down big time.

Round 9: Good stuff by winky to start the round. Bernard is a dirty pile of shit, but he's doing well. Neither guy doing much , Hopkins doing better but winky landing just as much. Hopkins pace has carried for most of this fight. Both guys landing well, and Winky really isn't doing much this round. close round, hopkins did more.

Round 10: Winky landing better to start this round. Lederman doesn't wanna score for someone whose holding, but he's doing a better job in alot of these close rounds. Both guys trade decent shots, and Hopkins is holding. Winky looks tired. Bernard lands a good shot, Winky not doing much to press the action at this point. Good right hand by Bernard. Another close round, but Hopkins is doing a better job landing meaningful shots, as this is definitely not a Winky Wright pace.

Round 11: Winky needs to pick it up if he wants to earn a draw on my card. good hook over the top by winky, but Hopkins nullifies it well. Hopkins lands a good right hand, and Winky hasn't done anything this round so far. Hopkins continues to land decently, as Winky looks tired and uncomfortable. this is borderline unwatchable. better round for Hopkins, and he's got 7 IMO.
