They meet in the middle of the ring...Katsidis comes out strong, w/ body shots. Left/right/left uppercut by Kats. Katsidis stinking on to Escobedo again, not allowing him room to punch. Right to the body, Right hand by Esco to the head. Jab,jab,left hook by Escobedo. Jab/right by esco again. Jab/right/right by Katsidis pushing Esco into the ropes.

Left/right by Escobedo, kats come back with a right to the head/left to the body. Right/left/right by Katsidis breaking through Escobedo guard, Jab/right by Escobedo. Right by Esco. Right uppercut/left hook by Esco..

Round 7: Kats

 

69-64 Katsidis

Probably Escobedo´s best round and I´m bored, so one to Escobedo to mix it up.

 

that was a better round for escobedo. he does throw some sweet marquez'esque combinations but lacks in power.

They meet in the middle of the ring.....Jabs by Escobedo, Kats trying to jab w/ Escobedo but forgets that and lands the overhand right. Another right by Kats, Right hand/left hoook by Kats, Esco clinches, HUGE LEFT HOOK by Kats..but Esco takes it...it didn't look or sound hard but i saw it land and it was hard...and Esco legs bent a bit....

Escobedo back touching the ropes often...even when Kats is not on him...Right/left by Kats. Right off the ropes by Escobedo and rolls away, Kats follows him like Tom, counter left by Escobedo. Left hook/right to the head by Kats....good combo by Escobedo but all blocked by Kats...look like typical DE LA HOYA flurries...counter left by Esco, right by Kats..to end the round...

Round 8: KATS...

 

79-73 Katsidis

Escobedo had just taken the fight out of him. Question is whether he can last the distance.

 

NACHO asking Escobedo if he wants to stop the fight..it wasn't that bad a ROUND..IMO....but Escobedo has the get me out of here look...or maybe NACHO is just thinking of Marquez vs. Mayweather...

 

katsidis dominated that round. escobedo might be breaking down.

They meet in the middle of the ring...Kats comes out strong...right/left all over nothing big just pushing Esco back...Katsidis with a punch to the balls....Esco get some time to rest..

Jab/right/left by Kats not much land, but Escobedo look discourage and like his will has been broken. Jab by Katsidis, Looping right by Kats, and a right to the body. Jab/right/left by Kats...Right to the body by Kats...Escobedo back peddling and looking for time...he is lucky Kats isn't an accurate puncher.

Escobedo hasn't taken a huge beating...but maybe it's time to stop it...that last round he look like he didn't want to be in there.....

 

I swear I hate that homo Escobedo. Can´t stop anybody and can´t get KTFO properly.

Right to the head/ and two or three left hhooks by Kats, Esco clinches. Left/right by Kats. Right hand/left hook by Escobedo, but Kats keep coming, Left/right by Kats. Right lead by Kats, Esco catches him w/ a right/left combo.

Lets hope KATSIDIS doesn't get stupid and sloppier in these last 2 rounds..he got tagged more than usual in that last round.

Left/right by Katsidis, clinch by Esco. Jab/right by Kats, Escobedo lands a right off the ropes...Right hand/left hook by Escobedo but a lot of looping/slapping. Right/left by Escobedo backing away, Katsidis come in face first and eats a few more punches....

Kat won 10-2 IMO. Christ HBO overrated him though. LMAO @ Manny saying that Kat woulda given any lightweight except Whitaker a tough fight.

Theres too many lightweights to name in the last 25 years that woulda handed Kat his ass.
