Hopkins wouldn't do much against Spinks. He doesn't throw enough punches. Spinks would have ran or held for his life against B-Hop. B-Hop is boring too. Roy probably would have KO'ed him though just like Judah.

    [IMG]Spinks definitely won!

[IMG]My beloved, I know you are mistaken. Taylor won, for sure.

[IMG]I love you. You are my immortal beloved! Come here and kiss me for disagreeing with me.

[IMG]My beloved, it is sad, but I must leave you. I must judge a fight in Germany, and they haven't told me who's supposed to win yet!

I think your thinking about the Hopkins of today. I'm talking B-Hop of 2000, who would have given Spinks a cruel beating.

Anytime being what twice a round? Exciting? And you say I don't make any sense? Yeah Taylor is real exciting. Let me ask you something:

    1) How many fights has Taylor won in convincing fashion?
    2) How many fights could Taylor just have easily have lost?
    3) Was Stinks strategy a suprise to Taylor? Was he unaware that Stinks tends to get on his bicycle?

Taylor has been extremely lucky. Heshould have been history after the first Hopkins fight, when he was teetering at the end of the fight. Ruiz looks like Marciano next to this guy.

    Woah, Jaws...

If you had the fight 8-4 taylor, that's means Taylor was two rounds to the good. so to DISagree with Lampley, you would be saying that you were WRONG by, what 5 ROUNDS!!!

I KNOW you wouldn't be wrong by 5 round because you're a good judge of fights, so you should AGREE with Lampley.

At least that's my take on it...

Only boring fights i seen Taylor in was Hopkins who is boring and Spinks who is e-lite boring. Spinks made a Ricardo Mayorga fight boring. Taylors fight with Winky a guy who comes to fight was a war. If Taylor fights Pavlik it will be a war too.

Well There were alot of close rounds, so what im saying is to get on a judge for scoring, after years of TERRIBLE hometown scores (120-108 Demetrius Hopkins over Steve Forbes, and thousands of others) then for you to attack a judge for disagreeing with what was CLEAR Bias for Taylor, I just think he's abusing his power

I knew taylor would look bad, he didn't have the skills to take it to spinks like judah did. pavlik would make him fight, I think taylor would have had a much MUCH rougher time with miranda than pavlik did...lets face it taylor has improved very little since the amatuers. steward has done zero with him. his most effective punch is the counter hook and he rarely uses it.

Merchant's criteria for how fights should be scored means De La Hoya would have beaten Mayweather.

No more excuses. Taylor's just a pussy. It's in his DNA. I don't even know how he beat Hopkins and drew with Winky anymore. He gets worse everytime he fights. He needs to go back to his old trainer. They had a kind of father-son relationship. I remember that guy used to talk to Taylor like a child, and try to make him feel confident. He seemed to be able to say the right words to coax Taylor's pussy-ass into actually throwing punches, which Manny can't.

Im familiar. I don't think Hopkins was fast enough to hit the running holding Stinks.

Its not a speed thing. Hopkins would close the gap on spinks and beat him on the body all night. Spinks would be against ropes and trying to protect his ribs instead of jabbing when he was on his bicycle.

Taylor was busy enough and sturdy enough to make the fights close and take them the distance, that's different than winning the fights...despite the judge's decisions.

Because Winky has the style, where he doesn´t move as much, but blocks punches. Even an amateur like Taylor can´t miss Winky´s gloves. And Bernard he simply outmissed on the scorecards with activity, kinda like he beat Spinks tonight. That is Taylor´s style, outmissing his opponents on the scorecards. No better way to put it. He doesn´t beat people by actually landing clean punches.
