Soto might actually be winning this round by landing punches while Guz acts silly.

Jake, you need to tell us who you scored the round for.

I have Soto winning 7-3. Guzman is doing fuck all for most of the round, but then lands a fancy punch and gets all the credit for it.

Jake: Yeah. It's funny. I'd advertise one of my products too, but I can't wait for a GBP fighter to refuse a top contender and scream Ring title post-merger. Really. Can't wait.

Guzman needs a knockout on my card. I wouldn't be too upset if I never saw him fight again.

I forgot to post it for 1 round, and went back and edited.

You're giving WAY too much credit to Soto for coming forward. He's hardly landing clean With not much else ot offer, Guzman is winning on ring generalship and defense.

Gatti: Don't totally agree with you but this fight sort of reminds me of the hellish nightmare it is to watch Toney-McCallum II and score it for much the same reason.

I didn't see that fight, but I thought Soto won this 117-111. Bob Papa makes me sick. Soto came to fight, Guzman came to dance around. He even got booed by his own crowd.

All Soto was doing was coming forward. That shit wins fights in Vegas, but Guzman had him plodding around the ring for most of the fight.

Anyway, I don't disagree with anyone's scorecards and expect almost everyone to disagree with mine.

I thought Soto took that round on right hands.

Looks like the judges agreed with me.

Guzman's style is frustrating, but Soto just didn't land enough, or of any particulalr significance, to ignore everything Guzman was doing on the defensive end.

One thing's for sure.....Soto was onto something early and then he started to think too much and wait too long.

Guzman, to his credit, extended his stamina more than I thought he would...it really only became an issue in the last 2 rounds, and then not by much.

    Peace.

Question now is can Guzman get a fight with Pac, JMM or Valero. I think he would be all 3.

I didn't ignore it....I ended up with a draw (I mistyped that I had an even round, not so).

I can see Guzman by 115-113, but struggle to see more than that.

That's ok....it was going to be that kind of fight.

    Peace.

118-110. But I agree, scores were too wide. But no way in hell Soto won the fight.
