I've been waiting for YEARS for casa to be taken out, I started to think tonight would be that night, but no.

Diaz wouldn't beat Casamayor. No way, Casa would rough him up and fuck him up, it would be man Vs boy.

Don't compare a warrior like Katsidis to a holding cheat like Hatton ever again.

That was not an early stoppage, not at all. Katsidis was gone, it was a good stoppage, just the right time. Some refs would have stopped it when Katsidis stumbled into them with his hands by his waist.

He was punching back when the fight was stopped. Casamayer was on rubbery legs the whole fight when he stole that fight from Santa Cruz.

If only Katisidis didn't block punches with his face. He punches like a mother fucker- he just can't defend for shit.

The fight sounded like it was going exactly as I expected. Katisidis struggling early and then motoring late on. Why oh why must he rush in with his head in the air?

    Sigh.

Caligula- PM me your address bro...

I thought Katsidis did a better job of avoiding Casa's punches as the fight went on by keeping his hands up and moving his head as he walked in. For some odd reason, he got over-aggressive in that last round and got caught with his chin hanging out.

    Fucking hell dsimon

He was gone, absolutely in coo coo land.

That stoppage was just right. He was given a chance after the KD, even though he STUMBLED into the ref, and the ref stopped it before he got a chance to be seriously hurt.

Also whats sad is,Katsidis absolutley abandoned the only thing that was working for him (the body attack) and was just head hunting until he was knocked out.

Katsidis will come back. He still has a lot to learn and tonight confirmed that. I look forward to his next fight as most viewers probably are, he lost tonight but he'll get other chances to redeem himself.

Yeah that was odd. Casa really didn't like those body shots. Casa might not have seen round 10 if Katsidis had continued to go to the body.

Thats subjective... the fact is when a guy is fighting back one is not supposed to stop the fight. To you he was stumbling, maybe so, maybe not. What a ref knows is that a guy can stop protecting himself and then its time to step in. The ref should not assume otherwise. You must come from the land of Sven where refs step in to protect their golden boy

casamayor has had a great career. pro and amatuer. he turned pro late and is probably about 40 yrs old now. lots of you guys want to hate him but he is one of the true warriors of the sport who was willing to face anyone, younger or bigger guys. whatever.
