    They meet in the middle of the ring...Left to the body by Juan Diaz, left uppercut by Julio, right hand by Diaz, Left to the body by both fighters, Jab,jab, by Juan, left uppercut/right hand/left hook/right cross by Juan Diaz...

    Left uppercut by Julio, right uppercut by Juan, LEFT HOOK by Julio, right/left/right by Juan Diaz, Right hand by Juan, missing with the left. Jab/right hand by Juan Diaz, Jab,jab by Julio...

    Jab,jab,jab by Juan Diaz...throwing plently of them out..not one at a time...Julio southpaw again...and Juan keeps landing the jab, and throwing the right hand behind it..

    ARM PUNCHES from JULIO DIAZ....Left/right/left/right/left/right by Juan Diaz, Right hand/another....NOT ALL landed but Julio didn't do shit against them....

    They meet in the middle of the ring.....both comes out jabbing, left hook by Juan Diaz, catching Julio throwing a right hand. Left to the body by Julio, right hand/left hook by Juan Diaz, catching Julio on the ropes, another right and JULIO CLINCHES..and tries the headbutt again...

    Jabs by Juan Diaz, right uppercut by Juan, Julio moving and just stop to throw a few arm punches...Left hoook to the head, right to the body by Juan Diaz. Julio switching again to Southpaw...Right to the body, left uppercut by Juan..

    Right to teh body, left to the body by Juan Diaz....Right hand by Juan Diaz, left uppercut by Juan DIaz. Jab,jab,jab by Juan Diaz....Jabs by Julio....

    ROund 8: Juan...Juan mosta outlanded Julio 5-1 in that round..

    There's some of that....but he is not throwing with leverage nor with truly correct technique, either.

    When he DOES throw with leverage (mostly inside) - he tends to slap and that doesn't help.

    That being said, he's grown and gotten stronger....the cumulative effect of his punches is getting heavier and harder to deal with.

    That's the most likely scenario...but Katsidis has those really crisp, short shots with alotta torque...I think he can hurt Juan.

    Would be a great fight with some tension.

    Karl: Your boy is turning into a special fighter. He reminds me so much of Lamotta but with better combinations. Manny's people better do everything they can not to fight him unless they want to cash Manny out early.

    Manny has a good chin and Juan isn't a big puncher. Manny is faster and has more power and matches him for stamina. Why are people acting like Juan should be a heavy favourite in that fight?

    Maybe because Manny rose from fly and has yet to beat a top guy whose best years weren't at featherweight? Manny has never beaten a natural, top-tier guy at 130 (mostly because there aren't any right now).
